This is a terrible article headline. The article talks about O******* **already existing content policy**. They did not ban anything in response to Euphoria plotlines.

I don’t watch the show, bear with me: > posed in a see-through top and an outfit designed to make her look like a baby or a young child. In the show, she makes an OF account of her dressed as a young child because it’s what her “clients” want, but real OF policies strictly prohibit this type of content. > This is specifically outlined within the website's Content Moderation Policy, which denotes that one of the reasons content might be removed by the site is due to it featuring "a creator pretending to be under 18, even if this is role play or fiction."

thorn_95 3 days ago +981
dressing as a baby and pretending to be a child are different. this only says you can’t pretend to be under 18 not that you can’t wear/pose in baby clothes.

I’m on twitter so I could be wrong, but I saw a tweet earlier from an OF worker & she said one of her OF friends got kicked after doing something like Cassie did, almost instantly. I think their AI content management blanket bans anything that appears dressed like a child.

Honestly, good. I’m not one to kink shame, but I honestly find the whole ddlg kink and other kinks like it to be absolutely disgusting. If you’re into that shit, frankly you should be shamed. Edit: actually, I am one to kink shame. It just happens to be this particular kink that I shame the most.

Neither-Board-9322 2 days ago +7
No. Unfortunately the only reason I do is because an ex of mine was into it and kinda just sprung it on me one night, which immediately lead to a break up and is probably why I feel so strongly about it.
7
NPC_over_yonder 2 days ago +13
She should hook up with my old b**** call. MF sprung that shit on me. Like when I feel really really safe I’m pretty subby with occasional brat tendencies. We were improv-ing the scene dialog (step daughter/daddy stuff) and suddenly I’m hearing about how he loved going with me to buy my first training bra and seeing my “cute little breast grow in”. I’ve never felt so dirty. In a the bad way. Turned me off the whole kink scene.
13
Neither-Board-9322 2 days ago +21
And that’s why I find this particular kink (not any others I can think of right now) to be incredibly repulsive. I just don’t know how you could pretend that someone’s a child, have sex with them, and enjoy it without being sick in the head in the kinda way you need therapy, meds, and maybe even chemical castration for.

wynnduffyisking 3 days ago +154
Call me crazy but on this specific issue i don’t mind OF being a bit heavy handed in their enforcement. Better that than risking something sinister slips through the cracks
154
mr9025 2 days ago +27
Honestly, anyone going out of their way to make excuses about how “there’s a difference” strikes me as suspicious. Today’s climate easily suggests the possibility of plants posing as everyday Listnookors posting and commenting material with an aim to desensitize the public to what is undoubtedly the most nefarious, and yet apparently common behavior amongst people of great power and influence.
27
Impressive-Potato 2 days ago +16
She had a pacifier in the mouth if that makes any difference.
16
Responsible-Fox-1985 3 days ago +71
Exactly. She didn’t “dress as a young child.” She said that she got requests to wear a diaper from the adult baby community. Euphoria didn’t invent the adult baby community, it’s a real thing.
71
TheNonCredibleHulk 3 days ago +62
Sure is. Recently discovered a friend of over 35 years has been into that since almost as long as I've known him. edit - I'm not sure that some of you understand that HE wears a diaper for his "mommy," does it behind closed doors, and there are no children present.

91
Atari18 2 days ago +4
In terms of their content moderation, it's likely that wearing clothing associated with children is considered pretending to be a minor. Content mod involves creating a lot of umbrella terms, where something like "3/4 of an exposed midriff" can fall into a "sensually dressed" category
4
LilMamiDaisy420 2 days ago +7
I used to cam myself and it’s strictly prohibited. Like. You would be banned within minutes in a live setting.
7
Eruntalonn 3 days ago +16
Well, I do think the policy is targeting those who do look like teenagers and nobody would mistake her character with a real baby. But at the same time, I don’t see a problem with the website taking everything down, not allowing that kind of weird f*****.
16
littlerosexo 2 days ago +15
There's no diapers or binkis allowed either, they're generally not a kink friendly site and VERY strict on anything that could be taken as age play. I've gotten warnings for having my stuffed animals on the bed in videos. Oddly enough, they don't care when I'm humping a seven foot panda.
15
Hartstockz 2 days ago +17

11

3
AbsurdistAesthetic 3 days ago +7
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't "a baby" under the age of 18?
7
Q_OANN 3 days ago +11
What they’re saying is you can dress however but you can’t act or say anything related to being under 18
11
ded5723 2 days ago +24
That first part isn't said anywhere in OF policy. Dressing up as a baby is classified as roleplay for OF. Any mention of diaper or age play is heavily restricted on the site and isn't allowed. F***, even using food items as sex toys aren't allowed, the vast majority of people aren't aware how heavy handed OF is for content.
24
Hartstockz 2 days ago +7
Cant fist but can shove dildos thicker than wrists up you too. The rules just seem to be made up of anything related to B*** community that isn't considered super vanilla is not ok.
7
Violet624 2 days ago +6
Diaper f***** isn't the same thing playing at being attracted to children. It's it's own thing, though I don't watch Eurphoria so I don't know what they had Sweeney doing. But from what I understand, the diaper wearing thing is a particular f*****.
6
kitt95 2 days ago +3
She's wearing a garment that pretty much looks like a diaper, like a bloomer with the fabrick of a diaper and has a real pacifier on her mouth as she takes her feet into her hands and spread her legs, she's wearing curls and ponytails two, the blouse is giving baby sleeping gown (sorry I don't know how else can be described, English is not my firts language) and that's the setting, it's disgusting. Even with just the clothes she's cosplaying toddler 🤢
3
MamaBearMME 3 days ago +121
I don’t watch the show either but I did see the preview of her character’s OF grown baby spread legs cosplay scene in the “Euphoria” trailer on HBO Max and was immediately turned off by the show. It’s just so not necessary to tell a story and completely gratuitous, IMO. Thanks for sharing the OF guidelines. I’m glad to hear even they have limits.

OF has a bunch of content rules you wouldn’t expect out of them, and most of them come from the fact their their creditors and payment vendors put heavy pressure on them to keep things (relatively) squeaky clean. You’re also not allowed to piss on their platform, which is…good? Idk.
72

The show is honestly good but is constantly undercut by having blatant f***** content in it at least twice an episode. He's like the Tarantino of tv, he just can't seem to help himself
2
sn3akyb3ar 2 days ago +4
Technically nothing is neccessary to tell a story. Jason can give people flowers instead of chasing them with an axe, for example.
4
cabbage_peddler 2 days ago +26
Oh, so there are no women dressed in schoolgirl uniforms on OF, then right? …… Right?
26
ComplexLanky9097 2 days ago +28
The outfit itself is okay. What gets flagged is when the corresponding caption or message uses the word “schoolgirl”, or ANY text that implies being school age/underage. I have some schoolgirl outfit content and in the captions or messages, the text always relates to “librarian” or “secretary”. Things that are obviously known to be 18+.

BiasedChelseaFan 2 days ago +3
So basically you can dress as a school girl, but you can’t say you’re a school girl?

Average show writer research
8
Fickle_Competition33 2 days ago +3
I'm pretty sure the writer did research and did it intentionally to cause controversy. We live in the era of hype and gut feeling induction.
3
HugeTactsOfSand 2 days ago +4
In the context of the show, it kind of makes sense: the point is that Cassie is subjecting herself to these demeaning OF requests because she is willing to trade her dignity or her desired lifestyle. Which is an interesting theme to explore, but they are way too gratuitous in showing some of the “embarrassing” costumes and poses she does. And I agree that I think the writers/producers knew exactly what they were doing: show something super controversial and get people talking. Bring in curious viewers. Profit.
4
Kyrptonauc 2 days ago +2
That's the whole show. It simultaneously criticizises and participates. Like the whole gagging sequence in the first episode was definitely f***** shit. It happens pretty regularly.

19
gehenna0451 2 days ago +10
I don't even think this is partisan as much as it is American. You genuinely cannot put something in front of US audiences that offends their moralistic puritan sensibilities I've seen this happen with Lars von Trier films, Leon etc from all social and political directions
10
WildPinata 2 days ago +3
Leon is an odd example there, considering it's pretty widely criticised outside of the US too not only for the actual content, but for the fact that Besson (who has had relationships with minors) wanted to make Mathilda *more* sexual, and that Portman was hugely sexualised on set.
3

10
heavencanwait99 2 days ago +79
This is a prime case study: The headline implies that due to her role in Euphoria, categories were banned on OF, but if you actually read the meat of the article, it states that Sydney’s character on the show this season simply made the writer wonder about which categories are already prohibited on OF. They then proceed to go down the list. Journalism…

Of course it doesn’t extend in the real world, that’s the whole point of it being online. The word “hate” is so overused. Remember, every time you draw a line on what kink is unacceptable, you move that line a little closer to whatever it is you're into. If something is between two consenting adults and it's not causing long term damage, it's acceptable. No exceptions. You can find it gross and weird, but you must accept that it's ultimately not a problem.

This isnt an argument. Just because someone keeps getting into controversy(especially if its for stupid reasons that she shouldnt) does not automatically mean they are at fault. She did literally nothing wrong here

Same with the Levi ad. I’m not saying I love her or agree with her current self presentation but she’s quite literally just doing her job.

People are very actively looking to create controversies with her involved. This one is another stretch

Responsible-Fox-1985 3 days ago +3
Sydney Sweeney keeps finding herself in the center of controversy because both sides of the political aisle keep trying to drag her into it for no reason. She’s just a hot chick with big b**** who has gone out of her way to not take a position on anything.

smallwonder25 2 days ago +3
Exactly. I know she’s been leaning hard into the “I choose my exploitation” narrative but these episodes are A LOT. I feel bad for honestly and wonder if her hard lean into it was more to get ahead of all of this before airing. Had she not, who knows how people would have reacted. It’s sad because what choice did she really have at the end of the day?

Yeah Levinsons a known creep. But I also dont think its a coincidence that of all people its Sweeney doing it

It does. Because of credit card processors

*Everybody* has more content restrictions than HBO.

I can confirm this content is banned on OF among many other things, It’s algorithm really only allows pretty vanilla content as far as p*** goes.

Sweeney is a 28 year old, that looks like she's in her mid 30s, playing a 23 year old, who pretends to be under 18 on only fans.

An adult dressing as a baby is frowned on this week, but kidnapping, trafficking, abusing, raping, torturing, murdering and eating real babies is okay? I don’t understand this country anymore.

Consenting adults can do anything except [list of things] that make me personally uncomfortable! Arbitrary applications of moral reasoning aside, the O******* policy is sensible, distributing those kinds of images and videos would leave them open to the kind of obscenity charge that put Max H******* behind bars.
12
suff0cat 3 days ago +3
How does it leave them open to Max H******* charges? As long as O******* is doing their due diligence and making sure all models are of age, there should be no issues over what the creators wear or how they roleplay (y’know, within the confines of real world laws). Last I checked, they required ID for all “collaborators” even if they aren’t the one running the OF page. I totally get content like that being too extreme for people, I personally never looked at it beyond the initial “Car Crash Curiosity” of stumbling upon it on “Ye Olde Pre-Social Media Internet”, but like you said, if consenting adults make it for consenting consumers to goon to then what’s the harm?

Anyone have a screen grab of what they are referring to?
2
RevolutionaryAd6017 2 days ago +2
I have quite a few friends that on OF. That said the police is not to pretend to be under 18, also if for whatever reason, Sydney's character ever does pee content that also is a ban, and period content is a suspension the first time, then ban the second. Honestly, if they were going use a site, they should have gone with Fansly as it's less restrictive in that regard and I feel like less people have heard of it.

The article acts like this was written and filmed and aired without any sort of oversight. I don’t watch the show, but it sounds like they’re actually calling it O*******, and not some fictionalized o*******-like site… in which case, I can say authoritatively that the usage in the script was reviewed by an independent clearance company AND an internal legal team to ensure that they weren’t going to get sued over its use and how its portrayed. It’s also likely, though not certain, that they got permission from OF to use their brand in this way, which would have included a review of the usage within the script. I’m not saying that anything in the article is incorrect, just that this is additional context to consider, especially with the inclusion of the comment about “if they did any research at all” — the show, if not the writers, definitely know the reality of the OF rules. Luckily for them, Euphoria is not a documentary, but a work of fiction. I’m sure the terms and conditions of O******* are not the most egregious departure from reality that can be found on that show.

At this point I'm convinced that if Sydney Sweeney actually went through and made her own O******* page that she'd be the most popular woman on the site ever in only a few hours

Pasting this top comment I just saw on another post here, seems very apt. “The entirety of human civilization has been plagued by people who think a certain percentage of the population is wrong for existing and must be stopped. ...and those people must be stopped!”

People need to stop paying attention to her already. She's an attention wh**e. I'd rather read Jane Austen or Charles Dickens for the rest of my life than hear about her bs again. And yes, I have a library of all of their books from when I was in college.

She’s an attention w****? She played a role in a show and everyone else blew it up. She didn’t write the show.
