BEIJING--China's Commerce Ministry said on Friday it was banning exports of dual-use items to seven European entities ‌over arms sales to Taiwan, placing ⁠them immediately on its export ⁠control list, in a rare case of Europe-targeted, Taiwan-related sanctions.

That's really ironic considering Russia is importing components from China and Europe (I'd guess the US too). Europe won't stop exporting/importing to/from Russia, which is invading Ukraine but China won't export anything that might help the country they're getting ready to invade.

Thanks for the context. I guess it's not ironic after all. It still pisses me off that some European countries such as Switzerland are actively selling stuff to the Russians that they're using against Ukraine.
