If you really want to compare US vs China, US has invested $90bil vs China's $45bil.

Brazil has a 14.5% interest rate (off the top of my head, may be a few decimals off) & their currency appreciated about 10-12% against the USD in the past year. Returns on investment in Brazil have been paying off. No wonder they are willing to keep investing in their economy.

A lot of recent Chinese investments it's on auto sector, which is growing a lot in latest years (they are building several EV factories...). Car sales in Brazil it's very strong at the moment, especially EV. BYD Dolphin mini (Seagul) it's the most sold car of the year for now. They are also investing a lot on energy too, but this doesn't get much news.
