That number was never the total number of all types of missiles Iran has. It was the approximate number which could reach Israel. The majority of the missiles launched by Iran in this war so far however have targeted much closer neighboring countries instead.

I cannot blame either China or Russia for helping Iran in what is effectively a defensive war. Just like it is entirely fair for the EU and US to assist Ukraine in a defensive war, there is absolutely nothing wrong in what China and Russia are doing here. The blame should go to the aggressor.
