Charlie Cox isn't sure he'd play Gustave in the movie

Does his last name shrink when it gets cold?

Or better yet, Charlie Day

Nah. I would rather Rob Pattinson play him.

Pattinson would nail the look

I really don't understand why they keep trying to make Glen Powell happen. He's an okay actor who doesn't make up for it with his irl personality since it seems shitty.

I differ from you as I think hes wooden and dogshit at acting

Mistrblank Apr 25, 2026 +1
100% but I did think he was fun in twisters. Less so in maverick and everything else.

He is generic and “safe.” Completely replaceable.

He's the Sophie Turner of movies. Inoffensive but that's about it.

Please stop trying to make Glen Powell happen, just stop.

He was great in Running Man.

Colman just stole that though.

Nah, it would throw me for a bit of a loop when suddenly an American appears when the cast of the game is mainly European

ArchdukeToes Apr 25, 2026 +1
I had that a bit in Kingdom Come 2. Whole gamut of European voices and then suddenly a priest turns up all ‘howdy y’all’ and it confused the shit out of me.

That role was obviously written for kevin Hart

I really hope Glen Powell has nothing to do with it. If I see him in anything it's an automatic no from me.

Glenn Powell in this would ruin my excitement

Glen Powell has no range. He can’t play sad boy. He plays quirky pick me boy slop every time.

I didn’t know he was so hated on here. He’s pretty hilarious in Chad Powers, it’s a football show on Hulu. He does play that type of role a lot and this one is similar so I get you.

It’s a Listnook bandwagon, they’re the minority in their dislike of Glen Powell and it frustrates them and makes them more verbal and aggressive with it.

He’s great, these people are just weird

Best we can do is Timothee Chalamet

Glen Powell are we joking? I'm not on the hate train they made for him but there's just no way. I always see him as either cox or Aaron Johnson.

Livio88 Apr 25, 2026
Well, his role in the game was quite small already.

SellaraAB Apr 25, 2026 +1
Yeah, idk about that, his quite small role is probably bigger than Boromir’s in lord of the rings.
1
Livio88 Apr 25, 2026 +1
That's quite a bold claim. He's the literal embodiment of the phrase "the road to hell is paved with good intentions." His failure is what fractures the Fellowship, but then his self-sacrifice is what moves Aragorn to step up. That complexity is what makes Boromir so good. Gustave, on the other hand, is just a traditionally good guy and the only thing that's interesting about him is >!the shocking realization that you won't be playing as him anymore when he dies. He is pretty much a seat warmer for the real protagonist that the story is about. !<

Glen Powell is just Dane Cook if he went into acting instead of comedy

Is Glenn dating underage girls already?
