I can't even imagine being stupid enough to think Trump is handling the economy well.

Anybody who votes for republicans "because of the economy" is an uninformed f****** moron. Republicans haven't done well economically in decades. This article covers Truman through Obama's first term. I imagine it's even worse when considering Obama's 2nd term through Biden. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S._economic_performance_by_presidential_party Highlights: * Since Truman, Dems have created 2.3x as many jobs. * Since Truman, GDP growth averaged 1.8 percentage points faster under Dems. * Unemployment fell 0.8% under Dems, while rising 1.1% under GOP. * Value of income grows under Dems, while declining under GOP. * Deficits are ~1% smaller under Dem leadership. * Stock market averages 11.2% under Dems, vs 6.9% under GOP. * Corporate earnings per share grows 12.8% under Dems, vs 1.8% GOP. * 10/11 recessions started under GOP leadership.

About 35% of the US adult population can not understand a simple X-Y graph.

About 22- 28% are baked in no matter what. McCarthy had 28% approval after the infamous Army hearings of "have you no decency, sir?" full exposure as a complete fraud. Nixon still had 22% even after the tapes existence and erased portions were public knowledge, in the days before his resignation. These are examples of support floors, that seems to indicate conservative ideological alignment only needs to add a small portion of the electorate beyond the support floor to win seats.

There's a certain level of ignorance that nothing will overcome. Some people just don't pay attention or care.

It’s easy, imagine your only standard is “how much better am I doing than the most vulnerable in society”. Republican policies about further attacking the vulnerable would always sound great, right until you specifically are the vulnerable one they’re targeting. Then all of a sudden you briefly realize your class interest aligns with others having the same vulnerabilities, and then you’re right back to the usual bullshit after you’re comfortable.

If you are an oligarch it is going well. Can't imagine who the rest of the approval comes from other than Fox zombies.

He should be the first president to have a 10 percent approval rating. Sadly the country has too many idiots to be giving him any support at all. The record low in US presidential history was Truman at 22 percent approval rating. Trump has done more firsts than any other president ever has, maybe he can break that record and before the midterms have lower than a 22 percent approval rating. The idiot GOP senators codling him, would it take that to stand up against him? Mike Johnson? Release the Epstein files unredacted then??

Can we ban these cope polls karma farms? It's literally the same as it was the day yesterday and the day before that.

Thank you. Senate and House polling is more relevant.

I hear "polls hit a new low" every two days for years. IT DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING JUST STOP.

Why is anyone surprised. Trump is the most dishonest, disgusting, despicable and stupid president of all time and his disapproval rating clearly reflects that.

Looks like the economy isn't the only thing that’s tanking!

Oh look another bullshit poll that nobody cares about. Dictators don't care about polls.

Clearly the polls are at this point simply measuring how much of the MAGA base he’s lost. I can’t imagine any Democrats or Independents supporting him other than DINO’s or Independents ashamed to admit they’re MAGA. The record number of Republicans retiring from Congress reflects that reality.

How do we not have a system in place where a politician’s approval rating drops below a certain threshold a special election is automatically initiated.

I would like to see each one of these polling stories accompanied with stories describing the genuine pain that individuals and families are navigating through becsause this war of choice. His approval or disapproval in polling is pretty irrelevant at this point. All that matters is the pain he is causing and when it will end.
