Talk is c****. Colombia would need to build out tons of mass transit and also electrify buses, cars, trucks, etc. It's an incremental process, but one that *can* be goosed. But it has to be done by public investment, not just speeches and resolutions.

You’re leaving out the part where renewables are already cheaper and involve less risk that oil, which will only continue to become a less viable fuel source. The transition to renewables has always been inevitable, but thanks to the Hormuz crisis it’s become an imperative. There is no recovery for fossil fuels after this. We have crossed that event horizon and there’s no course correcting that’s going to magically make oil a desirable option for future enterprise.

I want nothing more than for the world to transition to renewables, but the key is transition. We need to build up those sources incrementally. If you don't extract those resources for yourself, the US is just going to invade and drink your milkshake.

Bold of you to assume the US isn’t on the brink of collapse

Hydropower accounts for over 60% of colombia’s energy production. They have some experience with renewable energy.

That's code for a meeting to "extract ourselves from the lunacy that the US has become"
Number one on the agenda, exiting the petro dollar system.

Colombia's main export is oil btw, followed by coal and coffee. Ecopetrol practically owns the country

Cartoons? Lot of studios I worked with had sister studios in Colombia. Lot of shows your kids watch come from there.

And the world met and the u.s. wasn't invited.
I wouldn't invite us either, as they would send witkoff and kushner.

The US was invited, but they chose not to attend. Just like Russia, China and most of the middle east.

Don't think the US would let them....if you know what I mean.
