Comically Worst Ever?

Posted by Punk_Luv

Okay been seeing lots of posts for the “best tv shot/ best movie/ favorite X, Y, and Z!” But now I am curious… what is the most hilariously bad movie you have ever had the misfortune to have watched in its \*entirety\*? I will go first: \*Stranded\* (2001) It was so unfathomably bad I assumed it was just a bad parody of a movie. I have watched it a few times with unsuspecting victims over beers. 🍻 Hilarity ensues. K, your turn.

honestly, *The Room* takes the cake for me. it's a trainwreck you can't look away from, like watching a car crash in slow motion.

yeah this is not even opinion by now, but fact. The Room is measurably the most hilariously bad movie.

Oh, hai, Mark.

I think that last sentence is how I have described “The Room” to people over the years, haha!

I watched *A Million Ways to Die in the West* in a theater. There were long stretches when nothing funny was happening on screen.

That was an admittedly slow movie

I thought it was fine for what it was - a prolonged Family Guy cutaway. :)

Me and a couple buddies were pretty hyped on this movie. We would get hammered and watch the preview often. Then we saw the movie and realized that every single joke in the movie was in the preview. They even put the back to the Future thing one of the previews. That movie had a funny moment or three, but it was painful to get through.

Junior with Arnie. I went to see it on a date as a teenager and fell asleep in the end because I couldn’t endure it any longer.

Haven’t seen this one, gonna add it to a beer-night list!

stinkatron5k Mar 29, 2026 +3
You’ve been warned!! I accept no responsibility from now on!

Punk_Luv Mar 29, 2026 +3
Consider me warned, I will provide extra beer just to be safe.

Does bollywood count? Cuz that movie for me is 'Zero'
3
Punk_Luv Mar 29, 2026 +2
Sure, I have seen some great and awesomely terrible Bollywood movies! Dance scenes are always fun.
2
DrawingAcceptable394 Mar 29, 2026 +3
Omggg recent bollywood is literal trash, I can list out movies lmaooo. But ya the songs are still good

Punk_Luv Mar 29, 2026 +3

The Woman in Black It's supposed to be horror/thriller... it's just stupidly, unintentionally funny bad.
3
Punk_Luv Mar 29, 2026 +2
Ha… yes, I have seen this and can confirm it is bad! Best with that one drunk friend who scares easily.

I bought a straight to dvd movie called Las Vegas: City of Dreams because John Taylor from Duran Duran is in it. What a horrible, low budget wannabe camp piece of shit. I only watched it once and then sealed the dvd case with a warning to others to spare themselves.

makestuff24-7 Mar 29, 2026 +3
Actually extremely bad: Birdemic. Better: Rifftraxx version of Birdemic.
3
Punk_Luv Mar 29, 2026 +2
Birdemic?! Lmao… gotta watch this.

Haven’t seen this one! What’s the best of the worst from this one?

Kid Rock

Yikes, enough said!

Borat. I've watched it twice. Once sober with a friend we spent a lot of time cringing and groaning the next time I showed it to a friend while stoned.
2
Punk_Luv Mar 30, 2026 +2
Very *niiiice*. So quotable, but god, so bad
2
mrmonster459 Mar 29, 2026 +2
Well, it's not an original pick but...yeah, The Room. Just to be slightly more original, The Happening is my second favorite so bad it's hilarious movie.
2
Punk_Luv Mar 30, 2026 +2
Ha, we share the same sentiment about The Happening!

Elf-Man https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2281215/ I wish I could get the time back from watching this movie.

Punk_Luv Mar 30, 2026 +1
Lmao! This one seems like a beer idea that went to far

Cowboys vs Aliens I thought this had so much promise, it had a great cast. It was awful, I kept expecting it to get better. It didn't. I tried watching it a second time, I made it about 15 minutes, then decided to leave the drive in theater. Edit - stupid autocorrect
2
Punk_Luv Mar 30, 2026 +2
Yeah, I don’t want to agree but it’s true. Great cast but very cringey story.

Smart_Resist615 Mar 30, 2026 +2
[Blood Gnomes](https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0330068/) makes The Room look like Marriage Story.
2
Punk_Luv Mar 30, 2026 +2
Omg that cover! I have to watch it now

I love Robert Eggers, and I loved the atmosphere of Nosferatu. Everything else about it ? 😬

Honorable Men (2004). Easily twice as bad as The Room. Excruciating stuff.

sleekennedy Mar 30, 2026 +1
The Toxic Avenger is pretty bad, but I still find it entertaining.

Gimme_dat_dirt Mar 30, 2026 +1
Hot Shots! Part Deux. Saw it in theater when released and only stayed because I paid.

*The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension* was an in-group joke for years. I saw a preview of the opening sequence of him driving into the mountain, thought it looked good, somehow got free tickets, and a bunch of us went. The preview showed the best 5 minutes of the movie. The one extra guy who had to pay for his ticket never forgave me.

Punk_Luv Mar 30, 2026 +1
Haha that one feels like a ln 80s music video that just kept going.

Panic Room. I don't know if it's just because I'm diabetic, but that movie really pissed me off!

Punk_Luv Mar 29, 2026 +4
Aww! I liked it haha. I was a lot younger… tbf. It wasn’t the greatest movie though but I did enjoy it XD

Zyxos2 Mar 29, 2026 +3
Panic Room from 2002 is the worst movie you have seen? I think you have not seen a lot of bad shit mate
3
Shoddy_Cup4182 Mar 30, 2026 +1
This is true. It's hard to sit still so I do choose movies carefully!  Also I think I was so focused on how terribly they did the diabetes part that I didn't pay attention to much of the rest.

The Godfather. Partly because it was so boring, but also because it is so long and boring. And what makes it worse was that I was a teenager hanging with friends and they watched all 3 of them. So I was bored for 10 hours while they watched the three Godfather movies. There must be worse movies, but I didn't have to sit through 10 hours of them.

Wattos_Box Mar 30, 2026 +1
Yeah i thought the godfather was boring as f*** and soooo long

‘Across the Universe’ for me. A movie set to Beatles songs should be good right? I just found it comically and offensively bad.
