Confidence is seen, not shown.

Posted by goofygymrat

I'm a firm believer that if you need to show off yourself then you aren't confident. Arrogance is shown off, but confidence is silent and seen. If you feel the need to tell people then you're just arrogant, but if you stay silent and people know then that's confidence.

totally agree, real confidence speaks for itself without the need for a brag fest. it's all about how you carry yourself, not what you say.

Spot on. Real confidence shows in your quiet presence. It’s just the byproduct of stacking small wins over time.

I think if you are needing to tell people you are so great it is also due to insecurity as well. I know at points in my life when I was insecure I went around trying to convince people I was worth of attention.
