She wrote Fleabag, She wrote Killing Eve. After watching Fleabag I never thought I would ever find anything as quirky and hilarious as it.
I was wrong, this show Crashing is f****** amazing, I have never seen so chaotic a show before.
If anyone hasn't seen it, go watch it. Has just one season and it totally binge worthy!
Truly. And he is hilarious in Chewing Gum, too, which was made around the same time.

It's great, not quite the masterpiece that Fleabag is but very funny.

This show is when I knew Jonathan Bailey was going to be a star. The curry episode is one I revisit frequently.

This is the most memorable episode for me too. I remember laughing out loud (doesn't happen often) during the whole scene. What a series!

It reminded me of Rent a bit. They lived in an abandoned hospital for lower rent. Some of the characters annoyed me a lot but I always really liked some of the others characters.

I really related to this show having grown up extremely religious but then leaving it some time ago. I had never seen a show that tried so hard to connect to that side of me. I think season one is my favorite but the whole show is pretty well written
Edit: Whoops, wrong show named Crashing, disregard

I was so mad when I found out that was it, because YouTube TV confused it for the Pete Holmes show and said there were two seasons

This and W1A are the shows I remember Jonathan Bailey from. I watched it a while back but I remember liking it.

Fleabag was really good, but also a little depressing.

I’m quite certain that made it better, not worse.

Right?
And yet it’s my comfort TV and I’ve watched it on several mental health sick days through the years.
My husband is appalled that this is what I choose to marathon on sick days.

Meh, good comedy makes me happy as shit. The depressing thing for me is that we only got 12 episodes (and Waller-Bridge hasn't done anything that good since).

watched it for the third or fourth time recently. Julie Dray should have been in a million things after it.

It may not be as amazing as Fleabag, but I think because it doesn't cover as dark of a subject matter it's easier to throw on as a comfort watch.

Her character is the perfect seasoning for *The Café* - one of those shows that really deserved more than two seasons!
