I was going to say it's cool there's a show with the Doctor and Lucca Quinn together. They could be an interesting combo. But I checked wikipedia and they were both in the main cast on the same season of Torchwood as well.

Not a bad show at all. Good acting and writing. Decent directing. It just doesn’t do anything that hasn’t been done before or tell a story that’s particularly interesting imo

Season 1 was okay - Mostly succeeded due to the sheer talent on display. This trailer almost looks like an entirely different beast though.

I’ve been watching the first season. About half way in. It’s interesting. Definitely a typical British crime thriller. However it kinda slows down in between. I’ve not gone back cause I’ve been busy with a couple other shows that grabbed my attention. It’s kinda a slow burn. The parts with the woman or relating to her just feel a little underwhelming. I guess Capialdi’s onscreen presence elevates the scenes he’s in.
