Jeffries is not beating the “controlled opposition” allegations with this one.
Edit: for the record, I’m not saying that I think that’s what Jeffries is. Rather, I am saying that this is the kind of behavior that leads people to think that way, whether it is actually true or not.

Yup I'm glad people are waking up that some Dems and Republicans are in the same boat they take the same money from the same people.
We need to get rid of the APAIC ones no more money going to Israel.

> Ryan Grim, co-founder of Drop Site News, went further, accusing Meeks of backing off the resolution precisely “because it now may have the votes to pass.” He contended that “Democrats secretly want this war to continue because it hurts Trump.”
Holding on to power or gaining power are the only things elected officials on either side seem concerned about. Pitiful.

Well, if Ryan Grim is saying it it must be true

Jeffries has received over $5.5 million from AIPAC alone. I find the allegations of delaying the vote until 4/13 very plausible. Dem strategy torwards Trump has always been to let him bang himself against the rocks, and Dem strategy torwards Israel has always been to let them do whatever they want. This tracks very well with party tendencies

Whether it passes the Senate would be beside the point, this is not helping the Democrats, let alone Jeffries, beat the controlled opposition allegations.

They don't have the votes to pass the Senate nor do they have the votes to override Trump's veto.

I was going to say no way that passes the republican dominated senate! The war powers act is half the reason they even field presidential candidates, The other half being tax cuts for billionaires.

Facts don't really mean much around here. They're gonna blame Jeffries regardless. Can't say I really blame them for it either.

Democrats would prefer to raise money on the prospect they might do something, rather than actually doing something.

Buried in the middle of the article appears to be the real reason this vote is being pushed, there are some democrats that aren't in town right now and every one is needed for this to pass.
But common dreams isn't known for its non-sensational headlines.

I mean, to be fair, imagine everyone uses the same words and phrases all of the time on this website. Not gonna lie, I genuinely and honestly am so tired of it. I mean, I mean, leopard boot eating face lickers with their every accusation a /s/s/s/s/s/s pithy quip.
