Russia still has dreams of parking some missiles back on Cuba!

Nowadays they can simply park drones...and it's probably happening under the very eyes of the incompetent/corrupt US administration

From the article: **"Our relations with Cuba are of a special nature. We cannot just betray Cuba, it is absolutely out of the question, we cannot leave them to their fate,**
But you did already once when you left Cuba in a lurch after dissolution of Soviet Union.

They are entirely responsible for the collapse of their failed state.

Yeah it was. They chose not to slaughter their own people to suppress the movement. Something Putin is very adamant was a mistake

"We take this opportunity to embrace our dear friend, President Vladimir Putin." - I mean, guess they gotta say it but hell of a PR move

So fuel trade for shaheed production deal with Cuba, some to be shipped back to Russia. Will be curious to see how this flies with Trump for Russia to help Cuba build shaheed drones ahead of his planned invasion of Cuba.

Russia - Sends fuel to its ally.
Iran - A condition of the ceasefire is that bombing stop in Lebanon.
USA to its allies - poorly run piece of ice; tariffs; ships are toy sized; 'Governor'; cowards; don't need anything; don't need you, and so on ad nauseum.

There was an 83% drop in Russia oil shipments to Cuba from 2022 to 2024. 2025 and 2026 are at 2024 shipment levels.

I like how you're pretending Iran is Lebanon's ally while Iran's funding of Hezbollah is turning Lebanon into a failed state

I never said their ally was Lebanon, the point is the treatment of their ally, whomever it may be.

I said:
>Iran - A condition of the ceasefire is that bombing stop in Lebanon.
Whether they are asking that Lebanon not be bombed 1. because they have allies that operate in Lebanon (Hezbollah or Hamas or whatever other terrorist group they fund there) ***or*** 2. because Lebanon (the government at large), I made no distinction.
I know it's a hard distinction to make. It's much easier when things are black and white...

Dude, you were clearly trying to make it seem like Iran is a good ally, they are not lol They have destroyed Lebanon. Some things are black and white, Iran being a "good ally" is one of those things (should clarify, that doesn't mean I think the US should be bombing them or that the US is a good ally)
And helping hezbollah isn't helping an ally, that's literally Iran helping themselves.

Its gonna be hellova shitty mental gymnastics time for US when cuba becomes Russia's taiwan.

It's almost impossible that a communist system such as Cuba becomes even remotely comparable to Taiwan in terms of economic output. Besides, Taiwan is democratic, while Cuba is a horrendous dictatorship.

I meant as a geopolitical foothold. Where one side tries to exert influence and becomes an annoyance.

we have to remember the reason why cuba is in such a bad shape is because they wanted to store nukes for russia and the US said "nope" during the whole "1962 Cuban Missile Crisis" and the embargo became what it is today.
China and Russia have been playing cards right in south america for years now and this move is most definitely a call out. a 'russian' cuba will most definitely help if it becomes a trading hub for kremlin just like how puerto rico became a military and economic asset to US for its location.
