Alejandro Garcia del Toro, who handles U.S. affairs in the Cuban foreign ministry, said neither party set deadlines or made threatening statements in the meeting, which he called "respectful."

Only things we can be certain will come out of this negotiation are trump resorts in Cuba.

Honestly if they get resorts in exchange for sanction lifting, it probably be a good deal and honestly a win Trump can take home and get reprieve from Iran crisis for a bit.

I was wondering what happened to Obama's Cuba reset....

Up next in Trump’s distractions from his failures in Iran, domestically and the Epstein files: Cuba!

I’m out of the loop on Cuba. Why does Trump and the DOW want to attack Cuba next?

It's the DoD. Please don't give legitimacy to a name that 1. Wasn't approved by Congress and 2. is just feckin' stupid

No, it’s the DOW because there is NOTHING they are doing that has anything to do with defense. I would agree with you otherwise.

Best I can guess is Mark Rubio. He has to get something out of the BS that Trump flings his way on most days. He's been the only one, that I've seen, vocal on Cuba.
But this did spur the 'current' talks on it:
"In February 2026, Cuban border guards fired on a Florida-registered speedboat in Cuban waters, resulting in four deaths and six injuries among 10 Cuban nationals residing in the U.S.."
