In Living Color is one of my favorite shows from the 90s. I didn’t start watching until it’s later seasons and then daily reruns when the series ended. Me and a friend of mine watched that show religiously for years until it was slowly taken off reruns.
I was maybe 12 or 13 y/o when I started watching and a lot of the jokes flew over my head, but the more I grew up and watched it, the more I understood and the more I loved it. I may need to look into the series on DVD since it’s not streaming anywhere.

Fun fact, the Super Bowl Halftime Show is the spectacle it is today because of In Living Color.
In 1992, Fox did an In Living Color special during the Super Bowl that started at halftime. Over 20million viewers were drawn away from the game. The next year, Michael Jackson was booked for the halftime show

We still say/joke "Homie don't play that!"
Great memories of a ground-breaking show!

I hear people say this that are way beyond the demographic that actually watched and I bet 9 times out of 10 they wouldn't know where the line originated from.
