More Dan Stevens is never a bad thing, bonus points if he gets to do an odd accent.

I watch anything he's in just for his accent work

I think my favourite one is from [Cabinet of Curiosities](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=am6T8shDRqY). It sounds like a Scandinavian Matt Berry.

First thing that pops into my head still when I read his name or see a picture is [“Sammy, those are fuckin’ onions!”](https://youtu.be/ATSf-WHAf3k?is=ntKL0afHtViZkRvW)

Yeah that was great, he was clearly having fun in that role. I also think of "Bollocks, I just dropped the pupa" from the end of the [Solar Opposites trailer](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IyTANvYnbD8) where they revealed the voice/actor change for the main character.

I hope the don't mess up with the book's structure. Le Carre was very meticulous about how his plot unfolded. He himself described his writing technique as "cat sat on the dog's mat". Often, at the start of chapter 1, the novel's plot is halfway over. Take Tinker Tailor Solider Spy -- it has good tv and movie adaptations, but they never started like the book: a teacher killing an owl in the classroom and the student discovering the gun. The adaptations killed the air of mystery by starting with Control and the botched mission.

Jim Prideaux is my favorite character in the book, and his stuff (understandably) doesn't get enough attention in either adaptation.

If you aren’t familiar with the work, starting with the botched mission still has an air of mystery. >!The pan in on the lighter… !< I also liked the visual of the owl in the movie, despite it coming later

How do you feel about the adaptation of A Most Wanted Man with Philip Seymour Hoffman, the article mentions the writer from that is helming this.

Have you met modern showrunners?

If it’s as good as the recent Tinker Tailor, should be an absolute delight seeing Dan Stevens in a John le Carré adaption

John Le Carre adaptions are almost always excellent, very keen to see this

They should've called it Legion of Spies. Better yet they could just call it Legion actually. Yea I think Dan Stevens would be great in a show called Legion

I'd watch the shit out of a show called Legion starring Dan Stevens, maybe if he costarred with Aubrey Plaza or something like that?
