Kingpin is such an obvious Trump allegory, you have to be completely oblivious to think otherwise. Also, he clearly is a crime boss?? He’s the ringleader of people committing crimes. He’s a criminal boss! A boss of crime!

Yeah kind of anti-hero but not really, like punisher but way more willing to harm civilians. Or a straight up slasher series

Tbf that doesn't necessarily mean he'd succeed or it'd be a "good" path. Technically what we're already seeing now *is* Bullseye's idea of a redemption arc, and he's dropping more bodies than ever

That's the thing, the suspension of disbelief is fine. We are presented rules for the universe and we live with them. Bullseye can throw things with great accuracy and velocity, such as a playing card, so that it can cut people. That stretches things, but we go with the stretch. I f****** WANT to believe all the stuff. I know Superman can fly and Spider Man can swing on webs and Matt Murdock has a radar sense and smells and hears super well. Cool, I'll buy it. He has a special billy club cane. Cool. But Karen Page can overpower a trained special forces cop in body armor? Ummmmm, that's not credible. And if those guys are that weak that civilians can down them, it undermines Daredevil. What I can't accept, in comics or TV, is when new rules are made up to make something look cool for a second. If Bullseye throws a ball point pen for two miles into the sky and it takes down a jetliner above the airport, I, and I hope you, are calling bullshit. If the same playing card that cuts flesh somehow penetrates an armored car, I don't believe that. We know a paper card can't do that, no matter how hard it's thrown. We don't need Mythbusters here. I am being extreme to illustrate the point, but it's stupid to ignore the rules they made. So he kills with a crab claw? That somehow, despite weighing a couple of ounces at best and being flimsy, penetrates an eye and hits their brain I guess for an instant kill? Also stupid. He kills with unseen objects as person pointed out above? The show is now treating me, the audience member, like I am not intelligent. But I am! I expect the writers to think harder and do better. Super Man can bend steel but if he get a gun and tries to flush it down a toilet, he can't do it, even if he is Super Man, because that's how narrow passages in toilets work! Wilson Fisk, smart enough to win an election by swaying the people, decides to be super violent in a boxing match? I can let it slide, barely, but ... that's pushing me pretty hard to suspend my disbelief about his character. It's not egregious, but it requires some other pretty good storytelling to let it slide. Anyway, we can disagree here, that's totally fine, but the comics WERE consistent, at least when they were in good runs by good creators. Even when Daredevil visited demons, there were laws to the universe. The TV show just ... does whatever looks cool for a shot or action sequence.. And as I admitted above, I guess it works for most people, so I am the loser here. But the great television, the stuff that endures, is great to nearly everybody. I wish Daredevil was that quality. Oh and the cat thing, Bullseye is a b******, so killing the neighbor's cat is par for the course. As you point out, that man is bananas, his wacky behavior IS consistent, you're right. I was just worried about poor Fluffy. And seriously, I'll just shut up now and let people enjoy, but I am disappointed because of how much talent and potential they have and how short the show falls for me.

And they take their own phone calls? They don't need dispatch because they are bad? Citizens have the fascist hotline and it rings right to swatnazi cell phones? And they are soooo stupid and nobody in the whole city makes prank calls and so they just, you know, show up in mass because one person sees Frank, maybe? Wish Matt and Karen had realized they could just crank call the Brownshirts into oblivion. They should report Daredevil sightings in Jersey. I didn't miss a plot point, I missed everyone on the show working for Fisk having an IQ under 50 and dismissing how organizations function in a city of millions of people. But wow that insane guy sure outsmarted them!

Its lazy imo Before when bullseye would should up it played a horde of bees surrounding him, to show that he was slowly losing his mind and drowning in the sound of them, that all he could is scream but no one would ever care to come. Because anyone who did care were all dead Now I got no clue what they've done but the character still seems, good

So it is not explicitly shown that bullseye realises that matt is daredevil. like for frank he realises it when he hear's matt voice in courtroom

Connected why Bullseye went to the church (to get coin), and set up the whole diner scene for Matt to find him (genius writing), 3 fantastically well choreographed, unique and well lit action pieces with Bullseye/Matt. Great writing between Vanessa and the Mayor, as well as more reveals in the Red River (or whatever) project with Matthew Lillard (who is a fantastic and mysterious addition so far). The pay-off story-wise as well as emotionally to Vanessa’s potential death from her hand in Foggy’s death, as well as her overconfidence. Call-backs to Matt as a kid etc etc. It just looked really good as well and is the closest a Disney episode has come to fully capturing the vibe of the original series.

Not everything thing has to be for everyone. There are plenty of shows I didn’t enjoy, but didn’t feel the need to go to a place where fans discuss a show to call it shit. It’s just a weird attention seeking behavior.
