> Perrault and Yacinda were known for creating the mockumentary true crime parody American Vandal, which earned critical acclaim and an Emmy nomination. When news broke of a Jimmy Olsen-focused show, it was reported to be in a similar style, framed as a true-crime docuseries hosted by Gisondo as Olsen. Oh, these are the American Vandal guys? And they're making this show in a similar style? Will be keeping this on my radar just because of that.

He was Gideon. Not to be mistaken for little Gideon.

I trust any member of the *American Vandal* writing stuff at this point. Looking forward to it based on Perrault alone.

Look I'm just saying James Gunn has limited goodwill and pull and it should be used on mainstream DC character movies and series. Yes to a green lantern series. No to a series about some dude who snaps pictures for the daily planet no matter how funny Hiss cameo in the Superman movie was.

I think we are a little off topic here. Explain to me again how a Jimmy Olsen tv show is better than a main stream DC character movies or show at this point when they just rebooted the whole DCU? Look I can appreciate a Jimmy Olsen show, I liked the she Hulk show too but we got that after like 38 movies. A Jimmy Olsen show would be standing on the shoulders of a Superman movie.... And that animated monsters from there 40s show that Gunn also green lit

It’s better now because the script is in a better state than the others. Like seriously if Gunn got a Batman script it would be greenlit already

I enjoyed American Vandal, but I think I’m in the minority for not liking the Olsen casting. I don’t like this version of Jimmy.
