This is what happens when expedited removal becomes the only metric of success. We’re currently in 2026, and the oversight at these detention centers has basically evaporated since the DHS funding freeze. It’s not just neglect it’s a systemic choice to treat medical care as a luxury instead of a human right.

ICE could care less about the people they are holding. They expect them to either leave on their own two feet or in a pine box. Either way they are deported..... ICE needs to be abolished and some agents need to be arrested for NOT doing their job....................
