This is either going to be absolutely brilliant or a total train wreck—there’s no in-between. But seriously, Renny Harlin, even if it’s just a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo as a random passenger, give us Samuel L. Jackson somewhere in this film. Instant brownie points. Also curious whether there’ll be any subtle connection to *Bait 3D*, or if it’s a true standalone sequel.
Well we had Open Water. So now we're getting Deep Water. The next one will be " Shallow water." followed by " Stagnant Water", and then a spin-off " Muddy Water."

Open Water 2: Adrift was also pretty decent for movies that get worse and worse and worse. Also "Fall" is a more recent similar type movie ( i'd recommend skipping the first 20 minutes or so backstory, its terrible).

Closed Water is a film about a deadly kiddie pool. Brown Water is an Adam Sandler and Kevin James comedy about pooping in the pool. It's also around 2 hours long, and on one single location. With a single camera.

There was a movie about a hurricane that floods a town and cause alligators to swarm the place and I was absolutely furious they didn't name it Hurrigator.

Does Ben Kingsley owe people money or something? Commercial airline pilots must retire at age 65. Kingsley is 82!

Aaron Edward plays a pilot who crash lands a plane into a body of water in both Deep Water (2026) and Sully (2016.)
