Relatively small sample size, but of the 4 flag officers and staff commands I've worked with its pretty obvious that Hegseth is widely seen as an imbecile who is tolerated purely because the respect due to his office.

They need to become intolerant BECAUSE they respect the office.

Anecdotal as well but know folks who work for DoD (civilians and vets) share that opinion. Most of their senior leadership is all active military and allegedly share the same opinion as well.

Pretty sure the only people who think Hegseth is a good Secretary of Defense are incel neckbeards and cryptobros. Anyone even remotely serious knows this guy is both a fool and concentrated insecurity in the shape of a man.

his office is a makeup room that he blast insecure communications from while doing shots.

Gen. George must have pointed out that what we're doing are defined as war crimes and got fired for it. If that is the case, I respect that general even more.

Or refused to deploy the airborne troops to take that stupid island Trump wants so much. I assume when the imbeciles in charge hear “92% of Iran’s oil” they think that’s physically where the oil actually is.

This is so shameful. Imagine being fired by a brainless former Fox News anchor when you have served and worked harder in a week than Hegseth has in his entire life.

No one hates the troops more than people who claim they worship them.

It must tickle Hegseth's testes to fire a four star general.

Exactly what I was saying. People forget, but he was a national guard major who was kicked out of service for being useless. He must get so hard firing real military officers.

What are the consequences if military forces resign and refuse to take part in war ? I would think they will lose their pensions but will there be any criminal or civil charges against them ?

Yes, but it would be a blood bath. Once you lose the military, it's over for a dictator. And there's not enough ICE agents to take their place either. That being said, unfortunately, there are plenty of bootlickers who will JUMP at the chance to replace these generals. Those stars (and the bird) make the career military salivate lol.

Not to kink shame... But maybe they're not that into the whole Rojer Stone/Paul Manafort f*** parties like you fantasized about all these years.
