DHS funding lapse is now the longest government shutdown in U.S. history | The partial shutdown — the rest of the federal government is being funded — hit a record 44th day on Sunday.
The fact that this is a part of the [Project 2025 agenda ](https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/fact-check-project-2025-calls-110000278.html)should be getting more attention than it is.

What sucks is the shutdown was done so murderers hiding behind masks and badges wouldn't get paid yet trump and the cons are funneling money to them anyway

It ultimately wasn’t even to prevent them being paid, since ICE has more than enough funding to continue operations.
What *really* sucks is that this shutdown is happening because the Trump admin not only refuses very basic reforms for officer accountability and protection of public safety, but also considers the insane amount of money already allocated to ICE - much of which is basically an oversight-free slush fund - to *still* not be enough to keep the greedy b****** happy.

This doesn't matter if it's only one department, this is the mainstream media just trying to make TRUMP look bad! Obviously whatever was President during the longest full government shutdown is the biggest IDIOT and LOSER! The longest one occurred in 2025 under trump as well.... That one doesn't count what was the third longest one?! Under trump on 2018-19 damn. Maybe this trump guy is an idiot and doesn't know how to lead?
Also /s for the first half of the post.
