Saint Paul, MN had over 100k attend! Edit: Star Trib is reporting 200k+ And an additional 100k+ in Minneapolis. That's like 10%+ of the Twin Cities metro population!!!

Watching the livestream of the protest in Minneapolis, beautiful event

Just got back from one in Orlando, FL! Thankfully, there were multiple throughout the area. I went to one of the smaller ones after I got off work. Even still, there was probably about 150 people there. We were at a busy intersection, and every few seconds we'd have someone honking and waving at us. Keep up the pressure, folks. A lot more people than you think are sick of this f****** clown. What encouraged me the most was how many old white people were showing support. This one really sweet old lady rolled down her window and shouted that she'd be out with us if she could stand for more than a few minutes. It may not always feel like it, but there are more of us than there are of them.

At least 250 peeps out protesting along the main drag in Perkasie, PA in Bucks County. Pretty MAGA area, so very encouraging!

Was in Northwest Indiana today. I received 3 fingers and an anti LBGTQ slur. Other than that, awesome day. I would probably guesstimate about 1,000 people were there. Not just older people like MAGA wants you to believe. Saw people of all backgrounds, ages and one of the funniest signs I ever saw : Bombing for peace is like f****** for virginity

Brought my 15 yo daughter to No Kings in South Bend, IN. Drove 45 min north from our rural red town and it was nice to see a decent turnout.

Listnook is NOT pushing this AT ALL today in any of my feeds which is crazy because my algorithm is so political all the time. They’re  probably burying it which is a red flag among many recent red flags for me. This site is changing. 

St Paul MN is gonna be massive. Seeing tons of people on their way to the Capitol and tons of satellite protests around town too.

Have been watching a bit of the Minneapolis protest live (I’m Canadian so no protest nearby to join), and it baffles me how every speaker is basically preaching some form of ‘Love thy neighbour’ sentiment, and RepubliKKKans hear this and think to themselves “Wow these far left domestic terrorists who don’t hate brown people and care about being compassionate are clearly the bad guys”

Went to a protest in a smaller town in CA - at the last one a bunch of trump humpers came out to counter protest (maybe a dozen or so throughout the day vs 1000+ protestors). This time around I only saw a single dude with a trump flag drive through once and he was gone

Springfield, MO - Most of our busy intersections have had a ton of protestors at them all day. One of our main thoroughfares was also lined with them. It's been very good to see the city be so active. Traffic has been absolutely crazy as well. I think it's been worse than holiday shopping traffic. My wife gave birth to twins yesterday! I'm not protesting today as a result, but I plan to teach them the importance of activism in the future.

I live on a suburb of DFW. I normally go to Dallas which is pretty large, but saw there was actually one scheduled for my city. There has never been much activity on my actual city, so was curious to check it out. Also wanted to bring my 6 year old, so thought this would make things way easier. Pleasantly surprised to see a large group gathered outside city hall - holding signs along a very busy street. Hung out for an hour - honks from cars were overwhelmingly supportive. Got a chance to meet some other residents who were looking to get plugged in, and ended up in a group chat called "Ladies Fighting Fascism." Even though it was way way smaller than some of the ones I've attended, it was great to actually have the chance to authentically connect with folks on a ground level.

Nashville TN was awesome. The crowd was energized and the chants were actually on point this time!!

Just got back from my local chapter's protest in AZ. Hot as hell but worth it. Hope Trump is shitting his diaper with rage.

I went to the one in downtown Louisville.  Great crowd with a mix of young and old. No counterprotesters that I saw and the march went off about as perfectly as possible.

The one I went to in a suburb of Denver was bigger than the one at the same location last time and we got a lot more positive response from the people driving by.

I’ve heard numbers of turnout up to 9 million. If true that’s mighty impressive. I’m not one for the 3.5% rule but it’s still quite a showing. If I was the GOP would be a tad concerned with November.

Just got back from Albany NY. Great event. Seemed to me more people there than last time despite a lot of other local events being planned as well.

We need to make sure that there is a protest scheduled prior to the midterms. Perhaps a couple of weeks before election day. This will give people a launch pad in their communities and also a visible force to show that the country wants this administration booted out of the office. It's gonna be especially important in areas that will be holding elections in red/purple districts. Also, in the summer months we should also have a protest because that would be a good time to get community activists out with boots on the ground to educate people in their districts on how to register to vote depending on their district rules if they have changed. I say the summer months because that will give people time to order birth certificates if that's what's going to be needed to register. I imagine most of the people at the protests are going to know what they need to do, but educating other people there on what people need to do so that they can get the word/hype out to friends, families, coworkers, etc could be helpful

We have 3 of them today in my county of around 275k people, and they're all at different times. I can't remember the last time I've seen multiple protest scheduled on the same day in my area.

Good turnout in Marietta, GA today!

A good turnout in Rice Lake, Wi today despite a windchill of 16. This area is quite red overall but there are blue votes to be found. I also saw two yard signs in town for Chris Taylor, who is running for state Supreme Court. That election is less than two weeks away.

Went to a local neighborhood one in PDX cause my husband had foot surgery recently and can’t really walk long. There were still hundreds that came out! So beautiful to see ❤️ can’t wait to see the turnout for the big protest downtown

No Kings is a large, popular and peaceful event in Rockland, Maine today.

My local protest isn't registered with NK this time for some reason but it'll kick off in a few mins. Godspeed everyone

I was very surprised to stumble upon a No Kings protest in Vienna.

Wheaton Illinois turned out! No trouble just a lot of love and support. 

Tampa took about an hour to show out due to traffic from hockey, but by 3pm it was very full.

On the way back to my car (which is always parked farther away than I think it is) overheard a woman and her teenaged children talking about how it was a good first protest, the woman commenting on how surprised she was at just how non-violent and peaceful it was, not at all like they hear about on the news. Attendance felt down today (possibly due to a ton of other events happening in the same general area of down town that would all appeal to that same crowd) but if even the people who think it may turn violent are bringing their KIDS, we're at some sort of turning point, I think.

In the last election it was the younger voters, early 20 - mid 20s that really pushed Trump to win the election. Are there any early -mid twenties turning out that you saw today? They don't seem interested in protests and instead turn to social media.

Denver felt smaller than the previous ones, which was disappointing. Still a fun time and at least a few thousand hanging out, listening to music and supporting one another. Was expecting much bigger turn out, and marches downtown, but im still proud of my city.

Of course there aren't any articles discussing the general strike that they're calling for on May 1st. I believe it was announced by one of the people from indivisible at the St Paul rally.

My favorite fact about kings is most of them were inbred. This has big implications for pedo king.

Cedar Rapids was about three or four times the size of the last one I went to. At least 5k people, I would guess. Some progressive Iowa candidates and a few local groups working for immigrants/POC/general progressive politics had booths. I admit I don't think these protests do much \*by themselves\* but as a place to find groups to work with for more substantial change, they're great.

Were there ever protests similar to this when the USA had a democratic president? I know that fringe groups protested here and there about various issues but (ignoring January 6) were there any organised protests of this size that attracted broad demographics of people and that didn't include armed and often aggressive participants? Any counter protests to speak of?

I am just getting back from Monroe, NC event and had a blast! All clear and don't even recall any counter protestors. On our corner we got to welcome a bunch of first timers and send them off with a smile when they were ready to leave. It is a long way to election time so stay vigilant and keep up the good trouble!! HONK FOR FREEDOM!!!!

I went to a local NK3, but I had to leave early. I have hyperacusis, and even with ear protection, the rally was incredibly painfully loud.

Great turnout in Lincoln Nebraska!  The wind was brutal but it was still great.

Where I live they reported 1500 people showed up, like 62% voted for Trump in a county of around 150k

Anyone know if anyone is counting the protests today? Morris is reputedly on one of his rare days off and may not have time to do it, and it seems like the numbers are one of the main ways these have an impact.

What's everyone's response when MAGA says that "the protests are working. We don't have a king" or "we haven't had a king since 1776" etc etc....
