Do you feel more connected to the season you were born in?

Posted by Pietertje_Pet

I was born in spring and that’s definitely the season I feel most at home in. I just feel better when everything starts blooming and the days get lighter. My younger sister was born in winter and she’s the complete opposite. She loves the cold, dark, cozy vibe and feels most like herself then. What season were you born in and is that also when you feel best?

Not for me. I was born in the winter and I feel much more connected to the in between seasons. I can be cozy and still get to go out and DO stuff without the extreme heat or cold to worry about

I was born in summer, and in most places, summer absolutely sucks. I moved to the U.S. Pacific Northwest to get away from hot summers.

No. I was born in the heat of summer and it's the season I dislike most.

Nope. Born in July. I hate, hate, hate summer.

I was born in winter but generally find the season oppressive. Spring and summer's more my cup of tea.

Born in winter and hate it with a passion.

i was born in summer and i totally vibe with the warmth and longer days. there's just something about the sun that boosts my mood, but i get why winter has its own cozy charm too.

Me too! Born in summer and actually enjoy it even with all the heat and humidity in my area. Love going to the pool and beach, hate jackets and being cold. And I agree about the long days being mood-boosting. It just seems like so much more is possible in a day. I'm also a big spring person because flowers.

I was born in summer but I actually feel way more like a fall person. Something about the cooler air, hoodie weather, and everything slowing down a bit just feels right. Summer’s nice, but fall just hits different for me.

Not for me, I was born in November. I love the summer

I was born in the rainy season and weirdly yeah that’s when I feel most like myself. Something about the cooler weather and grey skies just hits right. Hot sunny days are fine but I get drained way faster for some reason.

I feel the same way about my birth season. Born in autumn and I’m happiest when the leaves change, it gets a bit cooler, and everything feels crisp. Spring is nice but autumn just hits different for me.

I was born in summer and definitely cannot stand the warm weather, the dry heat, the inevitable sensory issues I experience at some point, etc. I connect more with winter, cloudy and rainy days, the smell of petricor, despite the cold temperatures happening most of the time.

I was born in winter. My mother talks about the day she gave birth to me, and it snowed really hard then. I become somehow nostalgic when its snowing and especially it snows a lot.

Signal_Fox8743 Apr 1, 2026 +2
I definitely do. I was born in the fall and it’s my favorite time of year. I love the feeling of the cool air when the weather changes and seeing the leaves change colors.

DrMoneybeard Apr 1, 2026 +1
Nope- I was born in winter and my mother loves to remind me it was -30C that day. My favourite seasons are early spring and early autumn, when the weather starts changing.

No, I have always hated summer even as a child

panaceaXgrace Apr 1, 2026 +1
Yep winter is the best season to me. The whole season in Tennessee is great. My part of the state barely gets snow or ice, maybe twice a year, and the temps are mostly mild, not terribly cold. I don't like summer at all. I hate the heat, the bugs, the humidity, the bugs, the heat...

Yes, I have a spring birthday. I love seeing everything coming alive and green again! The weather is really warming up, and I feel alive and well again just in time for my birthday to roll up. :))

WildFireSmores Apr 1, 2026 +1
I did as a child. Not so much now. But I do hate winter less than other people seem to and I was born in winter.

I was born in October, and though I do love fall, I am more of a summer lover. I live for the summers.

BrotherHot7476 Apr 1, 2026 +1
Yes I would say I enjoy spring/summer.

Afraid-Team-7095 Apr 1, 2026 +1
I was born on May 31st 😂 I feel way more connected to summer than I do to spring

PossessionNo3723 Apr 1, 2026 +1
Not really. I was born on the spring equinox, and in general I am not a fan of spring. It's probably due in part to my allergies. But I also just prefer the cold. I like the time between the autumn equinox and the winter solstice best. Winter and fall are my favorite seasons, with spring and then summer in last place.

I was born in the summer and I work manual labor so the summer is my enemy

orangecowboypony Apr 1, 2026 +1
I was born on the last day of summer and thrive the most during the autumn, especially Halloween time. Feels like it worked out :)

I was born in the dead of winter (mid January) so I love the winter I've always lived in a state that gets the snow and cold and while I do love the snow because of skiing and all, the bitter subzero temps can be a bit much sometimes lol

Top_Difference3488 Apr 1, 2026 +1
I've never googled what season I was born in. Actually I don't need to 😂 the month will tell me that info. Actually you might be on to something

tacticalcraptical Apr 1, 2026 +1
I'd say no. Summer is kind of my least favorite time of year because I have a pretty big aversion to heat. Ranking the seasons I'd say Autumn, Winter, Spring.

farawayinarda Apr 1, 2026 +1
No, but I was born in a very wet August and I've always enjoyed the rain more than any other weather.

I love fall but born in winter

adorableoddity Apr 1, 2026 +1
I was born in the winter and I was living my best Arctic Ice Queen life the past few months. The weather got down to -20 degrees Fahrenheit and I was shocked at how much I enjoyed it.

NoIdea8776 Apr 1, 2026 +1
Never thought about that until now but yea I guess I do born in April love the spring
1
Melonpan78 Apr 1, 2026 +1
Hell no, I was born in February. Second-worst month of the year, an utterly miserable time.
1
Ok-Thing-2222 Apr 1, 2026 +1
No way, February, BRRRR!
1
ihateautumnandfall Apr 1, 2026 +1
Absolutely not. Born in a cold winter month during a snowstorm. I constantly dream of basking in the sun. I love flowers, birds and butterflies, the sun and the bright blue sky!

RuleOk2595 Apr 1, 2026 +1
I was born in the winter, so, no.

musical_dragon_cat Apr 1, 2026 +1
I was born in late winter, and it's my least favorite season. I used to outright hate it, now I'm just lowkey irritated by it. My favorite season is autumn, before everything gets too cold and bleak. Halloween, colorful leaves, bright orange sunsets, and a good break from the oppressive heat of summer, what's not to love about it?
1
MobileOrdinary6827 Apr 1, 2026 +1
I was born in September and have thought nothing of it. I think I'm more of a June person.
1
Quirky_Commission_56 Apr 1, 2026 +1
Oh hell no, I was born in the late summer and I am naturally very pale and incapable of tanning.
1
mirthandmurder Apr 1, 2026 +1
Winter baby. I love Winter the most followed by spring and fall. I don't like summer as I can't tolerate heat. But I can't say that's because I was born in Winter...I didn't have snow around when I was born lol.

I was born in spring and it’s my favorite time of year.. April is also my favorite month and Easter is my favorite holiday

I love winter. It's as cold as my heart.

I love this idea. It does not work for me. But I love this.

Vempyremon Apr 1, 2026 +1
I was born in summer, and it's the season that I dislike the most! I much prefer... well, any other season. Winter is my favorite. Spring is awesome here for its stormy weather. But 100 degree heat in peak summer? No thanks!

I was born in May. I don't think I feel particularly connected to any one season. I grew up in New York state, but for the majority of the last 20 years, I've lived in places where I haven't had the full impact of four separate, distinct seasons. So I have spent a lot of that time craving that distinction. But I'm also picky about it. I want winter, but only between Black Friday and New Years Day. I want spring, but not dreary rainy spring, and definitely not pollen spring. But May/June, yeah, I love that time of year. Summer, I always want summer until the temps hit 90 and then I'm over it. And fall... I adore the riot of colors on the trees in the northeast. I love crisp air that carries the scent of fallen leaves and woodsmoke. I love all of the fall hype, and Halloween prep. And the holidays will always be special. So no, I don't really feel connected to any single season.

My daughter was born in the spring but winter is her favourite season. I was born in the spring but my preferred season is summer.

I’m a Spring baby but I absolutely love the Fall and the Winter is my second fav. Spring and Summer is hot where I live and I don’t like being in heat. It affects my mood and I get irritable when it’s hot.
1
moon_violettt Apr 1, 2026 +1
also a spring baby here, and it’s my favorite season. :) love the warm weather, spring clothing, and vibrant nature 🩷

5minute_daft Apr 1, 2026 +1
I am the same. Born in spring and it's my favourite season. I love that it starts to get sunnier but not too hot. I love to see the flowers start to bloom. All the birds are singing. It's still cold enough to feel cosy indoors but it's warm enough outside for a nice walk.

Global-Biscotti-9547 Apr 1, 2026 +1
Yes certainly do.

Hello_Are Apr 1, 2026 +1
Yes. I was born in August and summer is my favorite season. I wish it was summer all year long!

SpecialHistorical683 Apr 1, 2026 +1
I was born in summer, I always feel so warm in my home country. I think it depends on the country. I moved to other countries, summer is a good a season! But more connected...? I feel like more connected to winter, I guess I prefer chilly feeling.

Nope. Born in fall, don’t care for it but love spring. 🤷‍♀️

Born in winter, hate winter.
1
Sparky-Malarky Apr 1, 2026 +1
Spring is my favorite season. I love beginnings. Snow was fun when I was a child but I hate winter now. Summer can get too oppressively hot, but I love the long days and being able to step outside in shorts. Fall is pretty but it signals the end of summer. It’s when I was born.

Winter baby, it's my favorite season. I don't even really feel the cold

No, I was born in the dead of winter and prefer spring and autumn.
