Do you guys think Madonna’s Confessions part 2 will live up to the same level in sound?

I hope it doesn’t try to live up to any past glory’s and it’s baffling to me that M decided to refer to it as Confessions Part 2 in the first place. It’s not smart and it only creates expectations which may not be fulfilled. Confessions on a Dance Floor wasn’t even THAT edgy or club-heavy as the title might suggest. It was still pretty much a very clean sounding dancepop album and I think the new album will be a bit more experimental and expansive soundwise while still remaining a commerical appeal. I don’t expect a successor to Confessions, but simply a great Madonna album. It’s been a while.

As long as the first single is a banger like Hung Up I'd be more than satisfied. Hopefully it'd be featured in DWP2.

Probably not. Just the fact she's calling it "Confessions Part 2", seems like she's just trying to benefit of the rep of the original. But ya never know.
