Do you think there will be kids 50 years from now who will know who Yogi Bear and The Addams Family are thanks to them being on Tubi?

Unlike say, Captain Kangaroo and Howdy Doody that were poorly preserved, these two have been available for free.

Maybe. Shows don't stay on tubi forever though. They might loose the rights. Thats why dvds are the best. A corperation can't take dvds off your shelf.

I think both will be remembered, but not because of Tubi. Addams Family continues to exist through reboots, and things like the Netflix series. It could possibly drop off at some point, but it just isn't a series that died off for a long period. Yogi is a bit different. While that might increase interest, they still do things with the IP. Like, until last year, there was a new series called Jellystone. You can joke about how no one knows what that is, but it still lasted three seasons. While I never gave it a go, well besides one episode, I do like that it seemingly gave life to a lot of the other Hanna-Barbera characters. Like the one episode I watched featured Space Ghost, who was still voiced by George Lowe.

Think about how much media will be produced in the next 50 years. Their nostalgic stuff is stuff we hadn't even thought of yet.

Edward Gorey will always be remembered so The Addams Family will live on.

Maybe some kids, but the majority don't seem to like "old TV". I can't blame them; there are a million more options nowadays.

what makes you think fox will keep tubi around in 50 years?

Yogi Bear might stick around a bit because of nostalgia cycles, but The Addams Family has a much better shot long term since it keeps getting revived in new forms

I hope so. Even if not through Tubi, YouTube can keep the memories alive

Honestly, I bet the Addamses survive through endless reboots and memes, Yogi’s gonna need a gritty prestige reboot on HBO. Someone archive Tubi stuff while it lasts.
