Does anyone know if "A Blind Bargain" (2025) will get a wide release?

"Set in 1970, A BLIND BARGAIN reimagines the lost 1922 Lon Chaney silent film of the same name. A desperate young man strikes a dark deal with an unhinged doctor, offering his mother as a subject for the physician’s twisted experiments."

It's got 76 views on Letterboxd, which I suspect are from festival screenings. Will the new "A Blind Bargain" also be lost?

Never heard of this one but damn that premise is dark as hell. With only 76 views it's probably stuck in festival circuit purgatory - these remakes of lost films usually don't get picked up unless they have some serious backing or go viral somehow

It's a weird premise and the actors aren't exactly a-listers, so you're probably right. I'm hoping for it to at least be dumped on some streaming service. But I've picked up from interviews that Glover can be pretty stubborn and not willing to let things go, so I guess we'll see, lol.

It opens on April 24th at Angelika in NYC. Apparently in 70mm Definitely not a wide release
