Does anyone know if there are any new Children's Live-action Sitcoms other than The Thundermans: Undercover & Wizards Beyond Waverly Place?

**A lost mostly-abandoned but excellent genre?** Live-action Children's Sitcom USA English * Current programming * Nickelodeon - The Thundermans: Undercover * Disney - Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Is that it? There used to be heaps on the go about 10 years ago. Thanks

Odd Squad! It's a show on PBS, and a favorite for my kids. Its 5th Season premiered on April 6, 2026. The earlier seasons are great, too.

Odd Squad is such a good pull, it’s like a mathy, weirder Men in Black for kids. Honestly feels closer to classic kids sitcom energy than most new stuff.

Odd Squad ended years ago, i'm pretty sure. all they are doing nowadays is a short form series for gaming centric shorts, there's no actual real episodes being made or airing as of this year when it comes to the US.

I mean, these are 24 minute episodes? I'm not sure what you're talking about.

Man the kids sitcom scene really dried up didn't it? I remember when Nick and Disney had like 5 shows running at same time, now it's basically just those two you mentioned. Maybe they all moved to streaming platforms or something, but yeah the golden era of iCarly and Hannah Montana type shows seems pretty dead for live action stuff

yeah very dry I watch 1/2 or whole ep of these every morning there was about 10 similar shows on the go at once in their golden decade of the 2010s i've also found that 'musical vampire' one on D+ (current programming) is kinda sitcom-y

they are both listed as musical comedy, not sitcoms, but maybe overlappy, yeah

They’re definitely both sitcoms imo, there’s no difference between them and Wizards etc.

Odd Squad is genuinely clever. My niece watches it and I ended up getting sucked in too. Way smarter writing than youd expect from a kids show on PBS.

Umm actually... Tunderman Undercover: Most likely ending because of Clash of the Thundermans, if they decide to do more of Undercover, that would be something. Wizards Beyond: Yea, that actually ending this summer with it's final season, and the worst part? They got the Owl House Treatment, which is horribly cutting the final season episode count to end the show. So, in reality... Vamirina: Teenage Vampire is actually the last show with laughtracks for live action children. (Electric Bloom ended and was a single season show, if anyone was gonna mention this.)
