Does weather actually affect your mood or is it just me?

Some days I feel super productive other days I can’t even do basic things lately I’ve noticed it kinda depends on the weather too?? like these days = zero motivation is this real or am I just making excuses 😭

when its cold i feel lazy when its hot i also feel lazy too. i think it also depends wether you actually like the thing youre doing! but we're the same! these days i got zero motivation too!

weather definitely plays a role in mood for a lot of people, it's not just you. some days the rain hits different and just makes it hard to get going, no shame in that.

It makes a difference for me as well. On days it rains I tend to be happier overall.

Not just you. Literally a very known and labelled disorder (SAD - Seasonal Affective Disorder...).

Definitely! It changes my whole mood. It’s called seasonal depression! Light therapy, vitamin D supplements has saved me in this area!

summer heat and any hot days 30C+ = zero motivation rainy season = let me sleep winter = funtime working wrapped in blanket

100% real. Sunny days = motivation. Rainy days = I suddenly forget how to be productive 😭

It’s definitely real. Weather can mess with your mood more than people think. Less sunlight can lower energy, make you feel sluggish, even affect motivation. That’s why gloomy or rainy days sometimes feel heavier. You’re not making excuses, your brain is just reacting to the environment. Some people feel it way more than others too. On those days, even doing small things counts. Sometimes it’s just about riding it out rather than forcing peak productivity.
