We know, a******.

TeaSipper88 Mar 26, 2026 +592
Unfortunately, I speak a******. What he is saying is that you are a broke, disgusting loser if these higher costs bother you... and his beta, cuck, spineless supporters don't want to appear like the "gross poors"... even though they are the poors... so they button their lips and approve his message and continue to support him and "the troops". Blech. He's basically saying " I mean this is America right??? That means we can afford to blow up whoever we want! What?! You can't afford to blow up whoever you want??? You must not be American... You should be deported." It's Trump's version of a purity test. How much of a "pure" Trumper are you.

“Short term pain for long term gain”. Our pain, his gain.

$1,000,000,000 a day pain whilst TSA workers in charge of flight security start their *eighth week* unpaid. Good thing there's no current security threat to the US from any country that's well versed in funding international terrorist attacks...

seamus_mc Mar 26, 2026 +51
Let’s not pretend that the TSA isn’t a republican jobs program for people too unskilled to work as a mall cop. I had one tell me that my TWIC card issued by TSA wasn’t valid as an ID. [The Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC®) is a mandatory, tamper-resistant biometric smart card issued by the TSA to workers requiring unescorted access to secure areas of maritime facilities and vessels. It costs $125.25 for a new, five-year card, requiring an in-person, background-checked application process (fingerprinting/photo)](https://www.tsa.gov/twic)

Imagine being a billionaire and not caring about the price of food, fuel, education, healthcare, or retirement. Those are unnecessary public expenses that you don’t need to pay for so let’s cut ‘em. MAGA!

What could a banana cost, $10? He is a parody at this point.

I don’t capitalize the t in his name. In time, it will just a be a synonym for dumber

Yuck, this sounds so on brand.
3
LurksAroundHere Mar 27, 2026 +3
Bullseye. Definitely a "This doesn't matter to me, this doesn't matter to you" statement he's sending out to his cult.

He already stole our democracy, why should he have to give a shit now?

20 republican senators could put a stop to this tomorrow

That's why this whole thing is crazy. They know all this but don't care. I would think a temporary hit would be better than a permanent one.

rat_penis Mar 26, 2026 +240
They're swinging for the fences hoping they never need to stand for election again.
240
3MATX Mar 26, 2026 +124
Exactly. Most are too far gone in terms of morality and legality.  After this if we’re able to restore order a lot would face trials for corruption and treason.
124
jemappellejimbo Mar 26, 2026 +33
Can say that about the population.
33
Rynowash Mar 26, 2026 +20
They’ll stand trial.

rat_penis Mar 26, 2026 +31
I like your enthusiasm. We'll need that in the coming years. The Epstein class runs a lot of shit and you see how they act when we try to tax them or make them follow laws. How ugly do you think its going to get when we start taking their power and status?
31
-youvegotredonyou- Mar 26, 2026 +7
I read that as, “I like your euthanasia.” 🥴
7
metalyger Mar 26, 2026 +7
It hasn't happened before. After the civil war, they didn't charge the confederates with treason or punish them in any way beyond the war. After WWII, the use had operation paperclip, to absolve Nazi scientists and recruit them to beat the Soviets in the space race. It's always like this, the bad guys do whatever they want, and die old of natural causes.
7
Sweetchildofmine88 Mar 27, 2026 +1
No, they won't. This will be Americas legacy and the records will remain online for everyone to see as a reminder. I believe the only way out is Balkanization.

2
patentattorney Mar 26, 2026 +55
nah its crazy because when the bill comes due a democrat will be in office, and the news will spin up "Why is inflation so high now"
55
Habitualflagellant14 Mar 26, 2026 +25
Don't forget "the deficit"
25
The_Returned_Lich Mar 26, 2026 +20
How could Demonrats add 40 trillion to the deficit?! Trump? Oh, that was okay, because he was "fixing" stuff. (I wrote this as an exaggeration, but I realized how accurate it sounds to what will probably happen.)
20
Desperate-Natural110 Mar 26, 2026 +18
America no longer has the ability to pay off the deficit, can't afford making minimum interest payments anymore. Now that the world has chosen to boycott US products, shrinking economy will worsen the issue. Thank you "fiscal conservatives."
18
Er3bus13 Mar 26, 2026 +8
But look at all we got for it. Free healthcare, great education, strong social safety nets for the poor. /s

Because Fox News has brainwashed 35% of this country with relentless propaganda.  Without them running cover 24 hours a day, this whole shitty enterprise would have collapsed long ago.
9
andyraylan Mar 26, 2026 +28
Yes. And don’t you think that it could be politically advantageous for some of them, especially ones up for reelection?
28
welmoe Mar 26, 2026 +11
Could but won’t. They must bow down before their king.
11
DescriptionDue1797 Mar 26, 2026 +10
Not necessarily. It only takes one country to start a war but two to end it. Even if Congress did something to stop Trump , that doesn’t mean Iran will stop immediately. Trump never even entered that variable into the equation.
10
CraigKostelecky Mar 26, 2026 +9
You would think it’s in their political interests to throw Trump under the bus and then blame all of the bad stuff on him and “promise” to do better next election.
9
ChefCurryYumYum Mar 26, 2026 +6
They are part of it! It's not just Trump, this is a conspiracy of billionaire and AIPAC backed politicians who put everyone *except* America first.
6
Irish__Rage Mar 26, 2026 +6
It's because they are all in on the insider trading going on and will be so filthy rich after all this they don't care.

That’s why as a 72 year old independent voter I can confidently say I will never again vote for a republican.

Yup. That whole don't equate stupidity with maliciousness quote is bullshit. With all the information in the world at your fingertips, stupidity is malicious. People are just assholes all around.
47

Sufficiently advanced stupidity is indistinguishable from maliciousness

Hanlon’s razer is such bullshit. Basically the slogan for centrists who love defending worst people among us.
10
beardingmesoftly Mar 27, 2026 +4
Actions can definitely be motivated by malice, the idea is not to just assume it by default unless proven otherwise. In this case there is ample proof.
4

I read the headline, thinking "in blood or treasure?". Doesn't matter because his answer is the same.

Funny how "drain the swamp" got dropped and now it's fine his is the most corrupt admin in history.

Not that it matters but there’s a couple things going on. 1) he can’t admit that public opinion will affect his decision without giving up leverage to Iran. 2) he’s powerless to do anything about it, so he can’t be seen to care about it (otherwise the great and powerful Trump would fix it). Like every child who’s operating on the fly does, he painted himself into a very predictable corner.
15
kokoawsum421 Mar 27, 2026 +2
He’s been open about his disdain for people for decades. He lies all the time but he’s always been honest about how he actually feels
2
neeesus Mar 27, 2026 +2
That’s because his brain is rotting and he doesn’t have his frontal cortex anymore. He can’t filter himself as much as he did - which was already bad

he's getting rich on the side at the expense of tax-payer money.

Won't matter, news networks won't echo it, newspapers won't print it, and voters won't seek it out. I know the narrative is Democrats have a messaging problem, but the medium by which the message makes it out stymies its release.

Yeah wtf are we even doing anymore
10
TheBoNix Mar 26, 2026 +5
This was the one thing that helped me get through to a Maga dude I was talking with at a bar. We agreed that we want our tax money to go to stuff that will improve our lives. Tax money is going to gov no matter what. Would you like to not have to worry about Healthcare expenses or spend it on war. I specified that I was talking about a fake war at the time. Really had to make it simple because any time I tried to be specific they'd bring up some weird talking point. When I kept it basic basic there was lights flickering. Make it about THEM and shit gets through.

Republicans don't care about pedophilia or the sex trafficking of minors, and you expect them to give a shit about how much things cost?

Doubt his doctor gave him more than another 5 years max, given that his diet continues to consist mainly of McD's. So there's a very high probability he'll be dead by the time the debt crisis really hits, and by that time his family will have all switched out of dollar assets anyway. Why would he care? Why would most of Congress care? They're all ancient too.
6
brokenmessiah Mar 26, 2026 +7
He's been...uncharacteristic honest af this time around. I guess when you don't have to worry about a reelection, you just do whatever
7
Responsible_Ladder25 Mar 26, 2026 +6
When you’ve profited in the billions off of the presidency, you don’t care what anything costs this country and its people.
6
TwistOfFate619 Mar 26, 2026 +3
Well he’s been able to take things this far and STILL have supporters and yes men doing his bidding. The more he’s been able to pervert the entire system, the more untouchable he feels. He’s dropped a lot of comments to the effect o being able to do a manner of things as he desires, always knowing that he can simply say a few more things to ‘remind’ his base that ‘he really is about, or doing what he’s doing for them’. The irony with that last bit though is that it really has just become increasingly an opportunity to bullshit on his own ‘accomplishments’ and ‘contributions’. I’ll never forget the sad pathetic sight of the man at christmas time talking to a bunch of young kids about ‘election performance’ and state reception of him. For people to still think this man exhibits any sort of actual strength. The only strength he has is through public stupidity and through perversion of the political and justice system (i.e. illegitimate strength).
3
Konorlc Mar 26, 2026 +6
The one time he isn’t actually lying.
6
mtn_doo_codebrown Mar 26, 2026 +5
Us: What makes you guys think that a literal billionaire, especially one who lies, cheats and steals to increase his fortune and who is literally obsessed with money, would care if you suffer? He's butt rich and none of his policies will affect his life in any sort of negative way. Maga: He's rich! He does't care about money, he already has it. He donates his salary! He's rich so he will know how to make us all rich. Us: He's only rich because his daddy gave him literally tens of millions of dollars and he also lies, cheats and steals. He's not a master business man, he's a crook. Also, business acumen isn't the only qualification a president needs. Maga: \*Covers ears\* He's the greatest man to ever live. He's going to make America great! White house torn down, economy, farming and many other industries fuct b/c of tariffs, US soldiers dead, regime change war in Iran, gas prices at all time highs, reputation amongst allies fractured, adversaries stronger than ever and likely taking over as the world power, higher grocery prices and shrinkflation, higher taxes, lower taxes for the ultra wealthy, government institutions gutted through doge, sycophants and unqualified loyalists in important positions, confidence in the voting process shaken, literal cheating on elections, J6th, etc.

6

For a chronic liar Trump is weirdly honest due to how impulsive, self centered, and beyond consequence his life has been. Of course he doesn't care about the costs. He's a born with a silver spoon nepo baby billionaire. What is cost to him? The term is abstract noise. Money to him is just the magic bag of power he reaches into to beat poors over the head with or make fun pedo balls happen.
1

Honestly, I'm surrprised. Money spent on the Iran war is money he can't embezzle. That's so unlike him.

5
culinarian85 Mar 26, 2026 +4
So let me get this straight - he gets to vote by mail in in cuz he is president. He doesn't follow inside trading rules because he is president. He doesn't pay health insurance and gets above average medical care, because he is president. He doesn't care about raising inflation because he is rich enough. How is he able to relate to the average maga person, who is low to middle class, that works paycheck to paycheck. The amazing citizens voted him into political office. Not to represent the masses but to enrich himself and his friends. He openly despises the lower income citizens and is more akin to cancer then a leader of the people. They voted him in not once but twice. Either by casting a vote directly to him, or not voting at all (that is if it was a free election). Please explain me how the definition of insanity doesn't come into the conversation. The definition is unsoundness of mind that prevents a person from understanding the consequences of their actions, distinguishing right from wrong, or managing their affairs. The states are literally insane...

1
hskfmn Mar 27, 2026 +1
Well….obviously. It’s like when he says, “you need an ID to buy bread at the grocery store”, and it’s so incredibly obvious that he’s never been *in* a grocery store. He does not give one single solitary shit about you, and he never did.

>Leading up to these remarks, Trump also claimed that “numerous” other U.S. presidents from the past 47 years said they “wished” they had started a war with Iran but “didn’t have the guts to do it.”
2
SecretAsianMan42069 Mar 26, 2026 +3
He said he talked to a president who said they wished they had attacked Iran and reps for all the living presidents said no f****** way did that occur
3
PenSpecialist4650 Mar 26, 2026 +2
The fact that older generations sell our future and burden us with debt repeatedly is disgusting. Unless Trump has some super human abilities we don’t know about, he is statistically unlikely to live much longer. But I will be here for likely another 40 years, and my kids hopefully more than that. WE will be the ones picking up the pieces after these politicians in their 80s are long gone. Older people need to learn the lost art of retirement and let us younger people take over and run the world we are beholden to.

Let's play Mad Libs! Donald Trump says *adjective plural noun* during *event* don't 'Matter To Me'

They've never gone hungry.

They don't matter to the majority of his base who is poor, either, as long as they get to see brown people hunted down domestically and killed internationally.
2
DCMF2112 Mar 26, 2026 +2
And they all parrot the 'short term' mantra. This much infrastructure being destroyed, it's not going to be short term.
2
MuchWow81 Mar 26, 2026 +2
Sometimes he tells the truth
2
DemandredG Mar 26, 2026 +2
No one should ever listen to any Republican complaints about “there’s not enough money” and “we can’t afford it” when it comes to things that actually benefit americans.
2
moonflowerzzz Mar 26, 2026 +2
I can’t wait until we no longer have to see his name

When you don’t pay for anything yourself, costs don’t matter. Kinda like a young child
2
zoidmaster Mar 26, 2026 +2
Then: oh my god the price of gas is to high guys if you elect me I will bring gas prices to 1:98 I promise Later then: guys it’s going to take sometime to bring cost down just be patient. Relax guy(South Park) Now: why are you guys looking towards me to lowering gas prices. Im getting rich off of my own bitcoin why would I care
2
KnotSoSalty Mar 26, 2026 +2
Imagine if Presidents had to personally pay 1/100,000th of the national debt added each year? In 2025 the debt went up 2.2T$. Trump would owe 22m$ on that. Preferably paid in cash, in person. Would it be unreasonable and arbitrary? Yes. That would in fact be the point.
2
NUMBerONEisFIRST Mar 26, 2026 +2
I'm not seeing any Republicans experiencing short term pain like the American people are.
2
luv2ctheworld Mar 26, 2026 +2
And no one on the Republican side thinks this is an issue, or cares.
2
JiveChicken00 Mar 26, 2026 +2
Every single person in this country pays the high cost of diesel, unless you live in a cabin off the grid and hunt your own food like Ted Kaczynski.
2
wassona Mar 26, 2026 +2
He’s never had to buy gas, never bought groceries, never done anything himself. He just pays everyone else to do it and fucks over the rest of us.
2

Why would Biden make him say that?
2

Rich man doesn't care about the poor. Consider me shocked.

You f****** republicans have screwed us all. You fools, we're fucked. We won't be able to afford jack or shit in a minute, and it's all for nothing.

KadmonX Mar 26, 2026 +2
No surprise there. His boss, Pootin, has already lost over a million of his own soldiers in Ukraine (not to mention the civilian casualties, which are far greater), so Trump still has millions of lives to take and ruin. Trying to capture Kharg Island without taking the Iranian coast? That’s a direct attempt to repeat Pootin’s mistake! They’ll just be shelled nonstop from the shore. And to take over a country like Iran, you’d need at least a force comparable to the one that invaded Iraq. That is, 450,000 U.S. troops and another 250,000 troops from other NATO countries. So in this case, without NATO support, you’d need 800,000 U.S. troops. P.S. I’m from Ukraine, and Iran is our enemy; I’d like to see liberal and democratic forces come to power there, but what the U.S. is doing is some kind of super-mega-galactic stupidity! You could try to take Qeshm, Larak, and Hormoz, but they’re also too close to the shore. They could be shelled with artillery.
2
SigFloyd Mar 26, 2026 +2
I didn't know "we the people" was referring exclusively to the rich.

Because he's not the one paying them, we are. Crook.
2
kezow Mar 26, 2026 +2
Why *would* he care? It's not like it's his tax dollars paying for the war.
2
Nutmegger27 Mar 26, 2026 +2
Why should he care? He's made more than $1 billion through exploiting the presidency for personal gain. Never mind the damage he's doing to the nation. Classic narcissist.
2
DenialOfExistance Mar 27, 2026 +2
Of course he's manipulating the stock market and making billions! Why would his fat ass care?

Because fat diaper boy is creaming the top of your taxes, playing with the stock market and grifting off everything with his family!

Trump has a known history of hurting children. Either through his pedophiliac tendencies, suppressing the Epstein files evidence that incriminates pedophiles, or sending tomahawk missiles at an elementary school and killing 150 children.
1
dextercho83 Mar 27, 2026 +1
When Nick Fuentes is telling his followers to vote Democrats, you know it is bad
1
Shiro1994 Mar 27, 2026 +1
So if it doesn't matter for him, he can pay the military by himself, and the tax money can be used for health care, education, etc. - right?
1
BrokkelPiloot Mar 27, 2026 +1
He and his family get rich from the war by insider trading so he doesn't care one bit. Screw other Americans.
