Donald’s Trumps net approval rating has collapsed to a historical negative 17 points. He is the most unpopular president in US history. How do you feel about this?

Long post incoming. Set calendar reminders of when early voting starts and registration deadlines for your state, request PTO if you can't vote early/on election day, double check your voter registration, screenshot and share this with a friend, and hit the booths together!
**Verify you have not been removed from being a registered voter now, and set a reminder to check again in the months before any election in case you need to re-register. There are reports of people silently being removed from state voter rolls.**
Check your voter registration, upcoming registration and voting deadlines, and register to vote by searching for your state at:
Look up your upcoming local and statewide elections for the year:
Find information on your local election's candidates, their backgrounds, answers, and past actions, **and then print out your selections to take to the polls**:

Find individuals and entities that contribute to candidates:
**Information regarding the potential passing of the SAVE Act and similar statewide bills below**
**Note: REAL ID and Social Security Cards may not qualify for voting purposes if the SAVE Act and similar state bills pass without changes to their current form, as the above cards do not state citizenship status.**
So in preparation for a possible passing of the bill, it would be important to begin the process of obtaining a passport or birth certificate, certificate of naturalization and state ID that matches your current name, and a marriage certificate or divorce decree if your current name does not match. Links on how to request are below.
**It can take weeks to months to obtain these documents now, even without the system being backed up due to others jumping in on the process in the near future.**

I know you probably have this saved to something but thank for spreading the information.
My voter registration *somehow* got fucked up when I changed the address with my names spelling being wrong. I'd expires shortly before the last calls for voter registration and I'm curious will it be fucked up for another important election like the presidential election or will it be fine like a special election... Say the SAVE act goes through I don't think they'll be able to understand my birth certificate from potentially even saying it's fraudulent. A large part of me knows it'll screw Americans born overseas out of a vote because people have no idea how to read them. I'm pretty sure I'd get in an argument because I already know people don't understand birth certificates of military brats.

For much of the world, this has been the case since the 1970's. What's changing now is the countries in the west that used to support the US are changing their opinion. Once the Hormuz crisis starts to really hurt, then the US will get a lot of hate.

Yes, the hate is the driving factor he got elected (and gen z males thanks Rogan). That said the economy was decent and growing (as bad as fox news told them it was bad), now its a shit show with inflation, gas prices, grocery prices, etc. Tarrifs are a massive driver of this.
The last time an administration put on blanket tarrifs (the late 20s/early 30s), that party didnt win for 5 election cycles after. I could see the same thing happening after this debacle.

They will never come down. Trump could take a literal dump on the US flag, and they will ride-or-die with him. I think you missed a key point - he's the business owner and a multi-millionaire. The price of food, gas, and health doesn't matter to him.
He could be 'canceled,' liquidate his businesses, and still be fine well into retirement. He prides himself on his good relationship with his staff, but doesn't care that they're struggling to make ends meet.
This is a really critical point, I honestly don't personally agree with the listnook rhetoric that Trump voters "just want to hurt other people." It's more like "i'm doing ok, and I'm okay to suffer a little more as long as I can be assured I won't lose out to people beneath me."
There's a tacit assumption that politics, economy, and LIFE is a Zero-Sum game. There's a secondary assumption that America is the best country on other.
So if you add those two assumptions together - ALL that matters is that #1) they are doing better than the "lower" Americans (aka, everyone is either a w***** or loser. >0 or <0 in the zero sum game of life.), and #2) America is still the best.

Anecdotal but here it is anyway. My wife and I were doing small talk with the admin assistant at our daughter’s dental place. Well put together lady in her late 50s, cordial, efficient at what she does. Topic shifts to how strange everything has been lately and, I don’t know if she needed to make a confession, she blurts out: “I voted for Trump. I did vote for him, for the economy, but I’m not supporting any of the stuff he’s been doing.” I feel bad because i vividly remember just staring at her with a drooped lower jaw, until my wife saved the conversation with some pleasantries of some sort. I snapped out of it and ended up fixing her printer so she was happy. But man…
So I guess more and more people are starting to realize they’ve made a mistake. If enough of those people sit out the mid-terms, or even swap their vote for a blue Congress, he and his band of ghouls won’t be able to executive order their way to full dictatorship.

There are a lot of things to that, but to put it bluntly his grift had died before politics.
His bankruptcies had finally caught up with him. No banks would lend to anything he was involved with. By all reports he had far less money than he was saying. He had a bunch of personal issues that were going to cost him money in court. His name had been devalued, and his media career was all but dead.
He needed that presidential campaign to embezzlement funds from, and then the presidential office to sell access to.

That being said, the Democrats should be pushing impeachment proceedings and running on promises to convict for senators.

Yeah, I lost any shred of faith in the Senate on his first impeachment, when Mitch told a reporter, point blank, that they were going to acquit him the instant they got a say in the matter. No time spent listening to testimony, no effort spent looking at the evidence, just waiting for the chance to say no.
Which was bad enough to hear it from his gob, but then the next day they went and did exactly that. I think the time between them getting the floor, and stating that they already chose to vote in his favor, was *maybe* five seconds.

67 Democratic Senators would require the Democratic party to win all but two senate races without losing a single one (either in an election or death, and remember how old the senators are). To win all but two races, you would need a 19 point swing, around 40% vote swing. Theoretically possible, but not realistic. Even Putin level rigging does not earn you that swing.

That’s my answer to how it makes me feel.
His approval sucks because he did exactly what we all said he would do. But a significant number of voters didn’t believe us (even though he had already been president once and sucked) and elected him anyway.
Now they are like “hey, he sucks”
And that makes me sad. They should have known better, but they just couldn’t. Whether from unbreakable team-sport partisanship or just plain stupidity…they fucked US in an entirely predictable way.

In the US there's a floor that you'll never go below, due to the extremist core of the base. They don't care if their house burns down with them inside it, as long as opposition burns with them.

He doesn't care. He duped some idiots to vote for him, so we are stuck with him. The most we can do is give Democrats a Congressional majority in both houses after the mid-terms. But while that will be inconvenient for Trump, it won't stop his attempts to use Executive Orders to circumvent the legislative process.
I know the US is strong enough to come out of all of this okay. I just fear our reputation with our allies and friends will be at rock bottom. We are going to be dealing with this mess for years to come.
