This guy has zero credibility, he's an exiled monarch nepobaby who talks a mean game while being in the pockets of autocrats and wannabe dictators. He isn't an "opposition figure," he is a self serving attention seeking puppet.

Certainly. I cannot think of many opposition leaders who asked another country to bomb theirs. Asking your people to get bombed usually doesn't win their support.

The worst part is when you see a bunch of diaspora Iranians defending and supporting him, while Iranians inside Iran despise him for your exact words.

Never forget that he mourned American soldiers that were killed and not the school children that were bombed and killed.

Kind of like how Iranian regime mourned the few hundred school children and not the 30k Iranians they killed a few weeks ago.

Welcome to the club. Those clowns genuinely sit outside Iran thinking they know what's best for Iran and its people. Not a single guy in my friend circle or family member supports him and most of them laugh when I bring the clown prince up, because it sounds so ridiculous to them that people sitting outside Iran want a guy that does not know Iran or been to Iran for 50 years should rule Iran. He does not know the country, its people and he has no experience or skill to offer the people.

What? You are spreading lies. They were chanting Javid Shah during the protest where they have been killed by the regime (40k civilians dead)
He declare himself ready to create a temporary government and help build a democracy. So it is true that most of the Iranian dont want monarchy, but they still want him to help them build a better future for their country instead of the regime who slaughtered them

I'm literally Iranian/Kurdish with friends and family across Iran that can easily tell you nobody inside Iran besides a tiny bit of young people want him. Don't need an Italian guy to start off his comment to me that I'm lying then proceed to say something that has nothing to do with the point afterwards.
Nobody wants the exiled clown prince in Iran because of his dad and he himself has no credentials besides being born as the shah's kid. So use the last bit of whatever braincells you got left and read a book or something before calling someone a liar based off a few clips on the internet from a country that has been in blackout for 30 days now

You are still a liar. I know hundreds of iranian people in Iran (cause of my job) and it is just as I have written before. Again I am not say they are all pro shah or pro monarchy but they are all fine with him helping them transictioning. Everywhere I go, everywhere I hear chanting Javid Shah.
The fact that I based my opinion on few clips is totally false as well.

Find me a video of actual Iranians in Iran calling for literally any other opposition figure's name. There are dozens, if not hundreds of videos of Iranians in Iran cheering and chanting in support of him. Trying to paint the diaspora as some separate entity is ridiculous when many/most of them have family in Iran or may have recently immigrated from Iran. But keep spreading your misinformation.

Seems like 49% of Iranians approve of his transition plan (src: gamaan). To say he has no credibility considering that is insane.

I don't know man, I've seen a lot of Iranians supporting him, even though he said he isn't planning on taking the leadership of the country. Check out his CBS 60 minutes interview, he came out as genuinely caring and has a plan for rebuilding Iran (without him at the helm).
I agree he's not an "opposition leader" per se, but he's worth listening to imho. You never know what role he will play on the aftermath of the war in Iran

You don’t know what you are talking about. Am an Iranian and as I have skin in this game, I follow this closely. I can go deep into why you (and most people commenting on your post) are wrong on almost every point, but I’ll leave you with one thought: he’s the only person who Iranian people trust at this point. Proof: he called out people to come to streets to demonstrate against the regime. People responded in millions and were massacred by thousands by the Islamic regime.
I understand that you don’t like Trump/Netanyahu. I understand that you think all forms of Monarchy (even in sweden?) are wrong. But for the love of god, we are talking about the will of millions of educated pro-democracy young people in Iran. Your idealogy is not more important or accurate than their lived experiences.

Nobody in this can claim more credibility. All are at zero.
The leaders of the agressors, Trump and Netanyahu, both have no credibility. You can want what they want, but you can't say they are credible.
Same goes for the Iranian leader, I can't say wo it is, would be pointless because he will be bombed as soon as possible anyway. That one has zero credibility as well.
Everybody sucks here.

>"The only thing that the remnants of this regime can be relied on to do is to buy time, to cheat and to steal. They will never be honest or true partners for peace," Pahlavi said.
That's an interesting thing to say after the regime signed an agreement with the US, the US shat all over that agreement then they agreed to enter the table and re-negotiate the US attacked them mid negotiations then they agreed to enter negotiations AGAIN and again, the US attacked them mid negotiations. Lmao. No wonder nobody is taking this guy seriously, even Trump is laughing at him and literqally laughed at the suggestion that he might be a legitimate option to lead in case of a regime change

Pahlavi is consumed by revenge on the regime, he knows trump is gagging for a ceasefire and deal and would hate to see the power Iranians would hold under those circumstances. Trump really, really does not want to send troops to Iran, but the demands Iran are making and the pressure Israel is pushing are going to be too much for trump to make any move except: 1. Ceasefire within the week or 2. Total war.
A ceasefire would make Iran the dominant force in the Middle East and uproot the basis of the global economy, objectively is a terrible option.
Total war is also objectively a terrible option, but at this point it feels like it’s going to be one of the two.

The US would have to force their choice into Iran's government. In no way is that possible.

Pahlavi probably doesn't give a shit about revenge. He is living a cosy rich life by doing nothing.
Actually no he remains rich by saying "mollah bad" from time to time.
The war is an easy way to be back in power. And even better he claim to want a constitutionnal monarchy, so he will have even less to do and still gain plenty. From his words he said that he is not even sure he will move completely in Iran.

Pahlavi has been gooning since the 80s. It is a bit galling for him to ask people from across the world to invade and bomb Iran, so that he can become "interim leader".
