Is the Miniature Wife show related in any way to Downsizing??
SPOILER::: In the second episode they do discuss shrinking people to put less stress on resources. That is exactly what Downsizing is about. This show feels like the prequel to Downsizing. I'm only on episode 3 and hoping they do tie it in with the movie.
I thought the same thing, the show’s premise is like the beginning part of Downsizing (before the plot takes a wild turn)

I got Downsizing vibes too, but I’m pretty sure it’s just parallel thinking. Sci‑fi loves “shrink to save resources.” Might be fun to check if any writers overlap in the credits.

I’m glad I stuck with it. Didn’t like Episode 1, but I really liked Episode 2. Narcissistic Less is starting to feel some sympathy for his wife, as he evidently did in flashback with her monster Mother, which helped me have some sympathy for Lindy. In Episode 1 they were both so unlikeable I didn’t know if I was going to stick it out. Now that Lindy’s 6” the special effects are fun.
