Even though I agree, the “whataboutism” doesn’t help their case if Iran wants to be viewed as the aggrieved or rally the world’s support against US/Israel.

Did they aim for the school ? If that’s the case then it’s just as bad , but folks are too far gone into narrative wars that nuance doesn’t matter .
For you someone running over a kid jumping into the road by mistake is the same as someone steering their car into the playground trying to kill children.
US is 100% not “bombing schools” there is no such target or intent, ridiculous gaslighting.

Adopting a “move fast and break things” mentality and accidentally bombing a school full of children is absolutely inexcusable, just to be clear.

No-Revolution3896Apr 1, 2026

No one excusing anything, the comparison is just wrong that’s all , no one is saying it was a good thing or anything on those lines.

The comment you replied to says that bombing schools is bad. And your entire response to that was that they didn’t mean to so it actually could’ve been worse. Can you see how that could be read as making excuses?
1
No-Revolution3896Apr 1, 2026
+1
No , I’ve replied to someone saying Iran attacking civilian targets non stop on purpose is similar to the US bombing a school at the start of the war , by mistake, evidence by the fact it happened once while dropping thousands of munitions.
1
HashtagDadWattsApr 1, 2026
+1
When your comments consist only of excuses, you shouldn’t be surprised when people think you’re making excuses.
To be clear, bombing a school full of children is inexcusable, and the disregard of the systems previously put in place to avoid such tragedies is equally inexcusable.

No-Revolution3896Apr 1, 2026

This is what I mean , you go into a thread about another (hundreds by now ) attack of Iran on their neighbors civilian infrastructure and somehow you drag the discussion to an obvious mistake by the Americans at the first day of war, so instead of staying on topic you resort to gaslighting me.
Is there anything Iran can do that we won’t go back to this really sad incident that was a mistake and not intentional?
Just say America bad Iran good so they can bomb Kuwait and be done with it as this is not normal discussion anymore.

HashtagDadWattsApr 1, 2026

At no point have I said “Iran good” or anything like it. But it’s noticeable that you’re so incensed by someone saying clearly that the bombing of a school full of children is inexcusable.

Obviously a country that started a war of aggression that violates international law, while also referencing christian endtime stories, wouldn't bomb a school full of non-christians with intent. (/s)

Yes they are.

The Islamic Republic is responsible for that because they built a military building right next to the school, which is a war crime.

None . Your argument is completely invalid giving USA is doing exactly word by word the same thing you claim iran is solely doing it ...
Should've USA not started this we wouldn't be in this mess

The US and Israel do have the high ground. They are the defending nations holding the regime accountable for Oct. 7 and all the other terrorist attacks they carried out for decades, starting with the 1979 hostage-taking in the US embassy.

But... You just can't imagine a world where an Iranian Islamic state who sponsors jihadist terror by colonizinging Lebanon and Yemen and Palestine and who occupies Iran itself with a jihadist minority is considered terrorist. Even a bot could do that.
