Most of them are terrible, but if allowing him to keep working on these increases the chance of another 1883 or 1923 I'm all for just ignoring the rest of them.

All of them except Marshall's has freedom and not restricted by FCC airwaves.
It's f****** bullshit that CBS has the Marshall's show when it should be gritty and TV-MA not sanitized TV14 bullshit.
They did not need this on CBS and should've been on Plus.

Ironically, the very first Yellowstone spinoff announced, 6666, has never come to fruition. I have no clue why Taylor Sheridan couldn't write a plausible premise and storyline for that show.

Listen here, out here in the country we do country things with country people wearing boots and driving trucks and drillin' oil. We drink and wear big hats and stare into the distance with our guns and our beards.

to this day it boggles my mind that they killed off the most charismatic actor the show had ever seen.

I cannot believe I watched it for so long. It was basically the same episode over and over and over. I never even bothered with the second half of the last season. No point.

Another show redditors are going to have a hissy fit over. It will never stop shocking me how you all never realize that there’s a sizable market for these types of shows which is why they keep getting made. God forbid there’s some variety out there.

Against how many other countless shows being produced by Paramount+ alone?

Actually Sheridan shows are the majority of Paramount+.

As someone who believes DEI is good policy,I think it's fair that they keep making Jellystone spinoffs to be inclusive to underrepresented groups in the media IE upper middle class/rich white people who wish to Cosplay a rural life. Much like Tyler Perry has created media for an underserved Demographic of older black religious folk. Sheridan is just filling in a market as well.

Lord, don't let him touch Lonesome Dove. He's said multiple times he wants to make Lonesome Dove tv show (he even wrote the forward for the 40th anniversary edition). Lord, don't let him. For the sake of Gus and Call, don't let him.

You dont want the guy who wrote some of the best movies of the past decade to write something, because the shows he created, but didnt write, dont sit well with you?

People just cannot talk about Sheridan rationally. It's actually pretty sad.
Boomer slop. Montana is ugly. Same shit. My day is worse. MAGA Tyler Perry.
It's so weak. And I despise the orange guy with the fabric of my being and hate what is going on with the US right now.

Way to take all the beautiful Montana views and turn it into flat boring landscapes. Makes less sense they’re protecting a new patch of grass with nothing on it.

AlexTorres96Mar 23, 2026
It makes me wonder if Montana has benefitted from these Sheridan shows as a tourist destination. I assume fans of the shows venture out there see it for themselves.

Last seasons of Yellowstone started to establish the sixes as a brand
1
Hank_Scorpio_ObGynMar 23, 2026
IIRC (stopped watching around this point) is that they sent that dorky/newbie rancher to the 6666 to start a spin-off with him directly on the ranch.
