Excerpt "Electricity was cut in parts of the Iranian capital Tehran and in Alborz province after attacks on infrastructure, Iran's state media cited the country's ministry of energy as saying on Sunday. Shrapnel hit a part of the electricity grid in Alborz province, causing power to be cut in several areas of Tehran and the city of Karaj. Authorities were working on reinstating it, state media added."

They deserve it. The same thing happened to Kuwait last week because of Iran.

BigBoss_ Mar 30, 2026 +7
Was the attack on Kuwait before or after this one?
7
Dark_World_Blues Mar 30, 2026 +6
Before this attack. It happened last week.

BigBoss_ Mar 30, 2026 +5
Oh I heard about it, I thought there was a new one. Stay safe brother/sister. Love from Qatar.

Dark_World_Blues Mar 30, 2026 +3
Thank you. I hope the GCC countries stay safe from this evil regime🙏

_Guven_ Mar 30, 2026 +1
The same thing goes for US as well, then I am fine with this. GCC countries might be one of the biggest nothing burger countries but still, stay safe. Besides, what kind of muslim supports kuffar against other muslims? Isn't GCC countries supposed to be a theocracy? I am not a muslim but I am trying to understand the reasoning
1
Dark_World_Blues Mar 30, 2026 +1
Politics is politics. Just because another country is Islamic or not doesn't change the relationships with Kuwait. Kuwait had issues with Iran back in the 1980s and Iraq invaded Kuwait multiple times in the past. Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1990 and took over the country for more than 6 months. If it wasn't for the US helping Kuwait in 1991, there wouldn't be a country called Kuwait today. Most of the US bases in the gulf countries is there to prevent other countries from attacking the gulf countries. I am not entirely sure what kind of deal they have with the US. You're asking what kind of Muslims would support kufar against other Muslims. The GCC countries refused the US to use their bases to attack Iran. Iran ignored this and attacked the GCC countries. Iran's regime is the one attacking these Muslim countries. The real question is what kind of Muslim country attacks multiple Muslim countries just because the country got attacked by a non-Muslim country that has good with these countries?

_Guven_ Mar 30, 2026 +1
Fair enough then, I understand your perspective better right now. Let's hope the war ends quickly
1
Repulsive_Drag_8205 Mar 30, 2026 -3
Iran will not attack anything until they attacked to it. US-Israel attacked some infrastructure and some industrial companies last week. So the region countries that they have US MILITARY BASE in there country and Israel should wait for Iran revenges.

Holy ignorant

Designer_Professor_4 Mar 29, 2026 +52
If they're actually targeting the infrastructure it isn't coming back up in a couple hours.   This sounds more like some transformer substation or primary high voltage lines caught collateral damage.  It took iraq 3 years to get back a little over half their generating capacity when it was targeted during the gulf war.

Ro-ftw Mar 29, 2026 -12
There's also talk of Israel using their graphite bombs. No one knows what's happening tbh - but definitely can't take the regime's word for anything.

Socialinfluencing Mar 29, 2026 +32
Yeah so much for peace talks, fuel prices are already getting out of control, here where I live in Oceania. I guess on the bright side, by the end of this communities will either band together again or worse societal unrest. I honestly hope it's over soon, for all of us no matter where you live on earth.

Wheres_my_wank_sock Mar 29, 2026 +23
Oil futures open in 2 hours. We'll see soon enough.

Mana_Seeker Mar 29, 2026 +7
Could get real choppy this week if the power outage is part of a broader move towards boots on the ground
7
HyperNova1000 Mar 29, 2026 +10
These were never peace talks, these were cease fire talks at worst, and discussing terms of iran's surrender at best.

IXPhantomSeekerXI Mar 30, 2026 +2
Yea trumps gonna wipe out all of our enemies then the next democrat is gonna take credit for there being no more wars xD
2
HyperNova1000 Mar 30, 2026 +1
for about 5 seconds beyond they themselves start new wars everywhere lol. Hopefully the next president isn't a democrat or the oil prices are gonna be the least of everyone's worries.
1
nobodysartinshadow Mar 30, 2026 +2
I completely agree with this opinion.. If this continues, it’s only the civilians and soldiers who will end up dying!
2
tanbyte Mar 29, 2026 +3
& it starts
3
onehum4n Mar 29, 2026 +8
Precursor to invasion?
8
xParesh Mar 29, 2026 +7
Yep. Before a ground invasion starts it’s normal to knock out the country’s electricity and internet capabilities to make them as vulnerable to ground troops as possible.
7
IceMysterious3056 Mar 29, 2026 +4
It's always Israel escalate to the next level...now Iran will retaliate I bet.
4
DisastrousAcshin Mar 29, 2026 +12
Iran already said any attacks on their infrastructure would lead to them targeting desalinization throughout the region. I guess we'll see if they follow through
12
HyperNova1000 Mar 29, 2026 +10
You are telling me that in a war, one side will retaliate to the actions of the other side?
10
BigBoss_ Mar 30, 2026 +5
What Iran is doing to its neighbours is unprecedented. Gets hit by Israel then goes to hit neighbours. Wouldn't call this retaliation.
5
HyperNova1000 Mar 30, 2026 +1
Yea, because unlike america and israel, iran has no strategy or way to survive this war, besides trying to wait out the clock on trump's term.
1
Sanhen Mar 29, 2026 -1
Iran in particular will because Iran usually takes a measured approach to what it does. In total wars, retaliation might actually be less of a thing because retaliation implies that you previously held something back. For example, if you were using the maximum amount of daily missiles you could with all targets on the table, then you can’t necessarily retaliate because you haven’t left any remaining room to escalate. In Iran’s case, they typically do seem to hold something back in terms of their target list, or at least that seems to have been the case thus far, so that they have room for these kinds of retaliations.
-1
Bold814 Mar 29, 2026 +10
Measured approach lol.
10
woody_cox Mar 29, 2026 +6
That's not what retaliatory means. It has to do with motivation, not scope of operations.
6
IXPhantomSeekerXI Mar 30, 2026 +2
If i had to physco analyze you’ve done some research on Iran recently and are still in the honeymoon phase of knowledge there for overestimating Iran due to your lack of knowledge on other subjects but your hearts in the right spot keep on learning things bud
2
Sanhen Mar 30, 2026 +1
Eh, I'm well aware that I'm not an expert. Just a layman who reads some articles, watches some analysis, and tries to form some basic opinions. Usually, I aim to make my comments sound less confident to account for that, but for whatever reason, I didn't in this case.
1
HyperNova1000 Mar 29, 2026 +7
>implies that you previously held something back Of course you hold back! otherwise you can't escalate and will run out of military options to respond within a day. Why do you think iran launches like 10-20 missiles a day and not all of them all at once? also, measured approach? america hits iran and they responded by hitting every neighbouring country, many of which opposed the war, and you call that a measured approach? they are in a desperate mode, trying to sow as much chaos as they can.

External_Promise599 Mar 29, 2026 -7
at this point after the Israelis and the US have deliberately started the war and targeted universities and schools, the Iranians are justified in whatever they do
-7
IXPhantomSeekerXI Mar 30, 2026 +2
We attacked the innocent Iranians that’s your theory xD
2
TheJewPear Mar 30, 2026 +1
It’s quite telling when the same people that will tell you Palestinians should not be punished for the actions of Hamas, are also the ones saying Iran attacking civilians and civilian infrastructure is justified…
1
TheJewPear Mar 29, 2026 -4
Iran already attacked Israeli power stations last year, so nope. Try again!
-4
jashanjeet Mar 29, 2026 -5
Still thinking Israel is right damn
-5
Sanhen Mar 29, 2026 +2
I’m not going to argue that Israel is in the right, but I very much think this is a conflict without a good side. I blame Israel/the US for starting a conflict that didn’t need to happen, appears to have been poorly planned/thought out, and is likely making us all worse off for it. However, I’m not going to pretend like Iran isn’t also an oppressive regime that destabilizes the region by sponsoring militant groups while brutally exterminating protesters.
2
TheJewPear Mar 29, 2026 +9
This conflict started a good while ago. It’s really bizarre all the ones that say “the Israeli Palestinian conflict didn’t start on Oct 7” are the same people who seem to struggle to understand the Israeli-Iranian conflict didn’t start a year ago. This war was inevitable.

jashanjeet Mar 29, 2026 -3
Always looking for excuses to go to war sure. Killing babies and school kids
-3
TheJewPear Mar 29, 2026 -1
I’m sure as shit not going to complain when Iran is getting their asses whooped after picking a fight with Israel. That regime is responsible for hundreds of thousands of dead and millions injured and/or homeless, good riddance I say.
-1
External_Promise599 Mar 29, 2026 +4
"hundreds of thousands" lol. Israel and the US are the root of this problem

Ok botname1234.

lol and i imagine your username has nothing to do with blind support of israel. The world is turning on that genocidal apartheid state, the actions in gaza opened our eyes
0
jashanjeet Mar 29, 2026 +1
And what about the genocide you guys doing in gaza buddy? And all we are seeing is us and Israel getting their asses kicked not the other way around
1
Khaganate23 Mar 29, 2026 +2
>And all we are seeing is us and Israel getting their asses kicked not the other way around Listnook moment

Bots have been out HARD the last month.

TheJewPear Mar 29, 2026 -4
Who’s “you guys”? Pray tell. It’s cute you’ve started your whataboutism comment with “what about”, too.
-4
jashanjeet Mar 29, 2026 +1
What I am saying is what Israel is doing gaza is exactly hitler did to Jews so both are wrong
1
0815Freeek Mar 29, 2026 +5
Since you're a failure at both history and math, I'll give you a little math problem. In 1941, the National Sozialist leadership decided on the mass murder of European Jews. Between 1941 and 1945, the National Sozialist killed 4 million Jews in the camps. If you include prisoners of war, Sinti and Roma, homosexual men, criminals, Jehovah's Witnesses, political opponents, and people with disabilities, the number rises to 6 million. Two million people live in Gaza. According to Hamas, 80,000 have fallen victim to the war so far, 50,000 of whom were Hamas fighters. You're comparing 80,000 deaths in a three-year armed conflict with 6 million deaths in four years. If Israel had an interest in getting rid of all two million inhabitants of Gaza, they would all be dead by now. It would be easy to eliminate two million people in three years. But they're still there. If what's happening in Gaza is considered genocide, that's incredibly incompetent, because the population is growing instead of shrinking.
5
jashanjeet Mar 29, 2026 -1
No one is comparing deaths all I am saying is Israel kills babies and school girls
-1
0815Freeek Mar 29, 2026 +2
You sound like Goebbels. Do you know how old the "Israelis kill babies" slogan is? Luther already said that in the Middle Ages. How anyone can fall for the oldest propaganda in human history is beyond me.
2
United-Salamander-89 Mar 30, 2026 +2
Minus about 7 million victims and a whole list of other differences sure
2
TheJewPear Mar 29, 2026 +3
You’re either ignorant about the Holocaust or ignorant about what’s going on Gaza. Most likely, both.

Where have you been? Iranian leaders have already started leaving earth.

Iran has lost 90% of their strike capability. They are launching smaller numbers of drones and missiles by the day.

Did an orange pedophile man tell you this?

YLMJ10 Mar 29, 2026 -9
The people of Iran I imagine are near the end of their tether with stuff like this. Trump will do some ground op to try to get a win and save face, and then call it a day in the next few weeks. Iran leadership will celebrate their withdrawal as a win, and then because their country was already suffering and have been hit badly including infrastructure, despite surviving, the regime will probably collapse internally soon anyway. Then the fight will begin between “Trump made the regime fall” vs. “it was going to happen anyway and all you’ve done is destroy the economy”.
-9
HyperNova1000 Mar 29, 2026 -3
We already saw the regime wasn't going to fall on it's own and the people of iran begged trump to help them. So no matter how the regime falls, it was with the help of trump.
