Emmy Predictions: ‘The Pitt,’ ‘Pluribus’ and ‘Beef’ Gain Momentum as ‘Shrinking’ Looks to Challenge ‘Hacks’

I enjoyed Pluribus.... but it should absolutely not get any consideration until they announce a date for season 2.

As someone who thinks Pluribus has the makings of being one of the greatest shows ever, I kind of like this take. Not necessarily hold awards as hostage to a second season but let it marinate like Gilligan's other amazing efforts. It's a first chapter of what could be an insane series whereas the Pitt is more episodic. I also think the casting is incredible but I wouldn't say the individual acting stands on its own as incredible but definitely fitting with the storyline and if the arch continues, many will deserve accolades. I feel like if second season of Pluribus is as good as the first, let the Pitt pick up some awards in the meantime for their efforts until Pluribus serves up what I expect and will be many more award winning seasons.
