Add this to possible nuclear/world war, inflation from poor governance coupled with conflict with Iran. Housing is out of reach for a larger and larger percentage of the population. Ai is visibly costing jobs, is at the least the excuse for cutting cost to pad a bonus.
Reduction in health oversight, reduction in vaccine usage.
Bah, this isn’t even the whole list of what to panic about.

Once large populations of fish are mostly gone they never recover.
Canada suspended fishing on the famous Grand Banks of Newfoundland when the vast cod fisheries were 99% gone. Over 30 years later there's no real recovery.

It's the Guardian, the whole point of the paper is apocalyptic reporting to drive clicks.
