Eric Overmyer, veteran TV writer-producer and co-creator (Homicide: Life on the Street, Law & Order, The Wire, Treme, Bosch) has died at age 74

He was such a kind and generous person. He went to my alma mater, and very kindly walked me through how to get a screenplay optioned, back when you could not just Google it.

Homicide to The Wire to Treme to Bosch. Most people in TV would kill for one of those on their resume. He kept doing it for thirty years.
