Estonia 'recommends' Ukraine uses different drone attack corridors after airspace breaches
Estonia has recommended Ukraine use different flight paths when attacking Russia's Baltic ports to reduce the chance its attack drones fly off course and into Estonian airspace, Col. Ants Kiviselg, head of the Estonian Defence Forces Intelligence Center, said.

There is a difference between Ukraine using another countries airspace for attacking and a drone going off course by mistake or as a result of jamming or other EW methods used by gremlins.

No there's not really, both are invasions of airspace of countries not actively involved in this war, that shouldn't happen. Ukraine shouldn't do it on purpose as a certain other country may view it as participation and do dumb shit. There is of course a difference in response from the country that has these drones over their airspace based on the sender I suppose, but they can't maintain 'sending angry messages' as a response forever.

Except there is a big difference. Hundreds of drones flew inside russia, one then entered Estonian airspace, another Latvias. A Ukranian drone swarm flying through Baltics to then enter and attack is a completely different situation. This is not the case and there is no military or political reason for any party to do so. It is clearly obvious that Ukraine did not intentionally send a drone into Baltics. Whether it was a malfunction, jamming, EW or something else, the public does not know. None of this affects Estonian support for Ukraine.

I don’t know why Estonia is complaining. Ukraine is basically their obi wan kenobi right now. If Ukraine falls, Estonia falls under the Russian yoke as well

It's just geopolitical posturing. If a Ukrainian drone cross another country airspace and hit Russia, then Russia will use this as a reason to attack that country.  Yes, Russia can attack without such reason BUT it's how geopolitics work. You always want to claim that you are the one defending yourself. It's easier to sell to your citizens and other countries.

Ukraine didn’t use Estonia’s airspace

Well there was that drone that hit Estonias Auvere ‌power station a few weeks ago. With officials saying it was part of a wave headed to Russia. Idk if it was a set flight plan or gps jamming though.

But they did. Unintentionally, or not, they were in Estonian airspace.

But “intentional or not” part IS the difference between using the airspace or just being there because of jamming.

It’s more that Estonia thinks that Ukraine will listen and try not to do it in future. Russia would not.
