EU greenlights sanctions on Israeli West Bank settlers
Long blocked by Hungary's former government, the punitive EU measures are aimed at "extremist" Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank. Israel has denounced the move as "arbitrary and political."

Kinda pointless to sanction them without sanctioning the government that supports them

"settlers" rofl. How do you "settle" something that already has people living there? That is just called an invasion...especially when you bring guns to do it.

Asking Native Americans, Africans, Polynesians, Australians, and Asians how good it was to have Europeans arrive with weapons and diseases to "not colonize" the place where they live is impossible because there's no one alive from that time.

Present Israel good because Europe in the past also bad? Are you really this dumb or just a bot?

Did I write that Israel is good? No, I didn't. Your eagerness for debate ignored the fact that my comment merely highlights the facts that colonization is about dominating not only lands, but dominating and decimating peoples and cultures. For reference, I am a Black Brazilian descended from former slaves, and that's why I emphasized the fact that colonization is not just about land; it's about subjugating everything on it.

I'm so confused why you even posted the first comment then? Western Europe has largely acknowledged the evils of colonialization, and this step just further demonstrates that and admonishes the system.

This was a complementary addition to my comment above.

I stand by my criticism here, not sure if you're agreeing with the original person you replied to, but that's not how it comes across. It comes across as arguing against the point.
