Were you expecting him to go back in time and tell Trump not to f*** up the Middle East again?

I would like to see someone in power acknowledge that globalization was a mistake, and encourage divestment from the status quo, focusing on a European economy self sufficiency. All nations should be doing this.

Globalization is not a mistake, if economies are tightly coupled there is a lot to loose with war. That was why we live in a relatively peaceful time. The real mistake is the US voting again for Trump.

How’s that working out for us? All it does is create a massive pressure buildup over time that will enivitebly result in nuclear armageddon. Proxy wars can only let off so much steam. Before the invention of the atom bomb wars were necessary for the balancing of power between nations. Now we cant have that normal and essential aspect of the human condition to occur without ending the entire world. That’s the only reason globalization has worked so far… a distraction to hopefully keep us occupied. It wont work.
