This is really frustrating to read. They spent millions to build a warning system, but then did not take care of it. Now it might not even work when people need it most. A system like this only helps if it is checked and fixed over time. Batteries, repairs, and regular visits are basic things, not extras. Without that, the whole project loses its purpose. It also shows a bigger problem. Projects get built, photos get taken, and then people move on. But the خطر does not go away for the local communities. They are the ones who have to live with the risk every day. If climate change is making floods more likely, then keeping these systems working should be just as important as building them in the first place.

How is that an indication of AI use? Genuine question. I'm outta the loop. I just thought they might have an Arabic keyboard they switched to accidentally and missed the typo. I didn't know AI made that mistake

I've definitely seen GLM, even the latest version, insert Chinese or Arabic randomly into long texts.

Somehow not surprising. A country that can't keep its plane in good enough shape to be allowed to enter the EU will definitely not spend the money on maintaining a system that ... may or may not prevent a disaster.
