Please go and see this film when you can. It's a documentary telling the story of how one community in Glasgow stopped the deportation of their neighbours by the UK's Home Office immigration services. It's one of the most moving and uplifting films I've seen in years. It's also interesting in terms of form, it's made with a lot of crowd footage from the day which makes you feel like you are right there.
I know documentaries tend to be topical but I feel like this has particular relevance and I hope it gets seen beyond the UK. It was shown at Sundance this year where it won the Special Jury Award for Civil Resistance. It'll be shown at the Miami Film festival in April [https://miamifilmfestival.com/program/event/everybody-to-kenmure-street/](https://miamifilmfestival.com/program/event/everybody-to-kenmure-street/) It's on in UK cinemas now.
