EXCLUSIVE: Kid Rock's 'clear sign of decline' as MAGA music festival risks cancellation

He began his career cosplaying as a kid from the streets of Detroit despite actually being a silver spooned brat from the wealthy suburb of Romeo, MI. He grew up on his family's property that was on several acres and featured a guest home, their own private tennis courts (plural), pool, jacuzzi, etc. Real "urban". Then halfway thru his career he pivoted to cosplaying as a folksy down home salt of the earth fella despite being even wealthier then his already wealthy background. Now he has pivoted yet again and tweeked his common man salt of the earth persona to more of a trailer park bigot who openly embraces prejudice and nationalism and views unyielding ignorance as a source of pride. There's never been a single genuine thing about this slow witted jackass other then his desire to jump on any bandwagon that affords him a personality since he has none of his own.

Hes been irrelevant since 99 with his first album. No one gave a shit about his switch to Country except idiots with confederate flags on their cars. These people who change genres are always awful and they dong change genres because they have the talent to do so, but because theyre not making any money off of their original music. MGK ring a bell? Everlast had one good song after the lead singer left the rap genre. 

I really don’t understand what Clavicle is famous for. He is a decidedly average-looking guy. 7/10. Tight bod, weird face, terrible fashion sense. I play magic the gathering on weekends with more attractive dudes than him.

I LOVED Bawitdaba when it came out and would sing it all the time in the car/listen to it at home. I’d literally scream the “MY NAME IS KIDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD KID ROCK!” Part I should mention I was 9 when it came out, that’s about the level of brain development (or lack therof) needed to enjoy his music.

He had that hit “All Summer Long” in 2007-2008 they played nonstop everywhere. The one that sampled werewolves of London and Sweet home Alabama. But even that was 18 years ago

Yep probably “Picture” with Cheryl Crow in 2001 was his last hit.

With just about every song ever recorded at our fingertips for free, why would anyone spend a single second listening to Kid Rock?

The only reason Kid Rock jumped into MAGA with both feet is _because_ his career was done 10 years ago. As much as I hate to admit it, it was a fantastic career move for him in terms of staying relevant.

Seeing Ice-T doing supplemental car repair insurance ads is weird. Dude was apparently a bank robber when he was young, so I wasn't looking to the guy to be a moral compass, but it's just weird to see a guy who's pushing 70 still leaning into the stage version of himself.
