Criminal now understands that it's much safer to break the law as a politician, as consequences disappear.

Maybe they should change the primaries so you can choose which country you want your candidate to represent.

Isn't he like a national hero for Israel?

He's not a criminal in Israel. He was Israeli spy in USA, who spent 30years in prison. He's criminal in USA but a hero in Israel.

In 2025 Pollard told Israeli figures “If the U.S. withholds critical weapons or imposes “unacceptable” ceasefires, Israel should credibly threaten (and be willing to follow through on) unconventional/nuclear options to ensure steady U.S. support.” This traitor, *literally* thinks it’s good policy to threaten Israel’s only actual ally, with the threat of unconventional/nuclear weapons if they don’t get the weapons they want. If this guy gets elected it will be the end of the US / Israel relationship.

Didn’t that happen already?

Yes in 1973. The last time the US tried to curtail israels blood thirst by cutting off weapons deliveries, Israel took their nukes out of storage and armed fighter jets with them, knowing there was an American spy satellite watching.  The weapons shipments began flowing again very soon after.

"Yes in 1973. The last time the US tried to curtail israels blood thirst by cutting off weapons deliveries, Israel took their nukes out of storage" – did Israel have nukes in 1973? The Vela test wasn't until 1979? [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vela\_incident](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vela_incident)

*In the 1973 Yom Kippur War, Arab forces were overwhelming Israeli forces and Prime Minister Golda Meir authorized a nuclear alert and ordered 13 atomic bombs be readied for use by missiles and aircraft. The Israeli Ambassador informed President Richard Nixon that "very serious conclusions" may occur if the United States did not airlift supplies. Nixon complied. This is seen by some commentators on the subject as the first threat of the use of the Samson Option* https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samson_Option

Nixon was an incredibly brilliant foreign operator when he didnt let his paranoia and feelings of inadequacy completely overwhelm him.

He also started the EPA, that's a damn good thing he did right there (I'm not sure if Trump shut that down or not but it would not surprise me)

What blood thirst were they curtailing. Do you need a history lesson about what actually happened in 1973. Israel was attacked on the biggest holiday of the year and the Syrian army was very close to breaking through

"Blood thirst"

‘Blood thirst’ lmao you mean they were fighting a two-front existential war?
-5
No_Rain8512 5 days ago -13
They were fighting to hold occupied territory gained via ethnic cleansing.

MegaLemonCola 5 days ago +35
Which is why they handed Sinai back to Egypt for peace after winning the war.

In 1973 when Israel was at its most dire point in its history, expected a death toll of tens of thousands because it was invaded on its holiest day mostly unprepared (a deeper discussion for later) by multiple neighboring countries and had to consider unconventional options only nations facing the end of their existence would consider - that blood thirst?

Not everything is black and white forever. Israel's actions might be indefensible today but in 1973, they were indeed facing an existential threat. Both those things can be and are true.

Pollard is there.. has met with our Ambassador (of all people) Mike Huckabee. The unacceptable ceasefires? Check. Nuclear weapon threat? Was before day one of this mess, according to several insiders.

> President Johnson and secretary of defense Robert McNamara had ordered that the assault be ruled an accident and to reach the conclusion "that the attack was a case of 'mistaken identity' despite 'overwhelming evidence to the contrary.' The CIA conclusion was due to politics

>(and be willing to follow through on) unconventional/nuclear options Not nuclear weapons, nuclear options. Think of all of the dirt Mossad has collected on US politicians, and access to the US's top secret weapons programs.

Why the f*** would you EVER trust that person again? In a normal world, they wouldn't have a chance, but chances are very good this person panders with a popular opinion and will be trusted with confidential or secret info again.... Because that is the world we live in. It's filled with stupid and corrupt people.

> Israel granted him citizenship. After 30 years in U.S. custody, he was required to stay in the U.S. for five more years, then moved to Israel as soon as he could. He landed in Tel Aviv on Dec. 30, 2020, kissing the tarmac as he was greeted by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

I thought for sure that Trump had pardoned Jonathan Pollard, but that's not the case. He served out his whole very long sentence. and all of the post-conviction sanctions and restrictions.

If a rapist and pedo bear lover can become president then why shouldn't a traitor become a member of the parliament that he spied for and who gave him out to the country that he betrayed. This is the true picture of the world that we live in, where previous actions mean nothing in the dirty world of politics.
