Alberto, the Peronistas and the PJ, went live saying they wanted to distance themselves from the USA and to become Russian's ally, and I quote them saying "Argentina should become Russia's doorway of entry to Latin America" [https://www.lavoz.com.ar/politica/en-rusia-alberto-fernandez-le-dijo-a-vladimir-putin-que-quiere-dejar-atras-la-dependencia-con-los-eeuu/](https://www.lavoz.com.ar/politica/en-rusia-alberto-fernandez-le-dijo-a-vladimir-putin-que-quiere-dejar-atras-la-dependencia-con-los-eeuu/)

Russians are the worst, our president is capable of doing its own mistakes, doesn't need Russia paying for it.
And shame on all the news reporters who accepted the money, they're worse than the worst of scum.

Doesn't Argentina already have a lunatic leader the US gave $40 Billions to?

No, the guy being a lunatic is part of a misinformation campaign, apparently partly funded by Russia as per the article. The USAnever gave 40 Billions, they offered a 20 billion swap, of which Argentina only requested 2.5 billions, and already paid back with interests.

They offered $20B in currency swap and another $20B in facilitated loans from a variety of sources. Plus something about importing Argentine beef.

You're very good at posting blatant disinformation with that 40 billion claim, do you happen to be Russian?
Just mere curiosity.
