This seems to get mixed up with another movie called “The Fare” which has some similarities. There’s another post about it on this sub and people got it crossed up.
Anyway….a ride share driver picks up a passenger who he recognizes as the man having an affair with his wife. The tension then mounts up to the last 25 mins or so that are just well, idk.
Spoilers ahead for sure: ok the person laying in the road? Was that a set up for a random crime/kidnapping? Did the driver have something to do with it? (he was texting a couple times while driving). The guy taking off his mask then walking away at the end…huh?
Would love to hear any thoughts or theories. It is currently on Tubi and I thought it was pretty good despite all my questions.
That movie was wild, I remember being confused as hell too. The way I saw it the driver definitely orchestrated the whole thing with that body in the road - those texts weren't random and the timing was too perfect. The mask guy walking away just felt like the driver had hired help to make it look like a random carjacking gone wrong but then decided to let the passenger live at the last second
Pretty solid little thriller though even with all the head scratching moments

I think we’re on the same page. My guess is he was stalking the guy like his wife had suggested and was planning something all along. There was also that meeting with a guy outside the car earlier

i think the road scene was just to mess with your head, like a red herring. the driver texting felt shady but probably more to show his obsession than a real setup. the mask reveal? classic “weird twist to leave you unsettled” move. the movie’s kinda built to make you overthink everything.
