The part that shocked me >The Ramallah-based Central Elections Commission (CEC) published that voter turnout was around 53.44%. I'd have expected a larger turn out. But then... >While Hamas was not allowed to run in the election, armed Hamas police forces surrounded the polling stations, according to footage published by the Associated Press. I see that voter intimidation is alive and well in Hamas...even in the West Bank still. And there was probably nothing the local security forces could have done about it.

Not to be that guy, but the West Bank not having a functional army is because of Tel Aviv and the settlers If the West Bank was able to defend itself, Israel settlements wouldn't be able to violently expand

I don't agree with the settlers at all but this is definitely...a take. I'm also not 100% sure what Tel Aviv has to do with any of it either. The West Bank has a police force, one that has even been coordinating with Israel Police for a couple decades now, they are just massively outgunned and out-crazied by the Hamas members. But yep you are totally being the guy that sees terrorists doing terrorist things and find a way to ignore that and say "it's Israel's fault".
