I can't recommend enough the latest album SHISH by Portugal The Man. If you don't like the sound at a given point..wait about 2 minutes... every song has movement, great production, and catchy but thoughtful lyrics. The album goes everywhere from indie to alternative to dream pop to thrash. It's an album for music lovers, not genre lovers.
